Traci’s POV As I waited inside the restroom for Corbin to clear the hallway, Sarah linked me again. “Traci,” Sarah says quickly through the mindlink as worry fills her voice. “I’m on my way upstairs now. We’ll clean together so we can get you off this floor before Darcy gets back.” Guilt instantly twists in my stomach. Sarah wasn’t supposed to help me. If Darcy caught her helping again, they would punish me even worse than they already did. Honestly, they’d probably punish Sarah too just for existing near me too long. Still… I needed help. Every inch of my body hurt from the beating Travis gave me earlier. My back burned constantly while bruises throbbed beneath my skin every time I breathed too deeply. Even standing upright felt exhausting. And somehow I still had training later. Wonderful. Because apparently surviving entirely on pain and bad decisions had become my personality at this point. “You should tell Corbin you can’t train tonight,” Sarah says softly through th

Corbin’s POV “Gamma Corbin,” Sarah cries through the mindlink so fast half her words run together. “You have to help. It’s Traci. The triplets… they… they…” Koda instantly surges beneath my skin. “She’s frantic,” my wolf growls darkly. “I know,” I mutter while shoving away from my desk so hard the chair nearly flips backward. “Something’s wrong.” My heart immediately starts pounding. Hard. Fast. Dangerously fast. “Sarah,” I say sharply through the link while forcing calm into my voice. “Slow down. What happened? Where’s Traci?” Sarah sobs loudly before answering. “The triplets,” Sarah cries harder. “They locked the door. They’re going to hurt her.” Ice floods straight through my chest. “Sarah,” I bark harshly. “Where?” “The triplets’ room!” she screams. Rage explodes through me instantly. Damn it. I knew I shouldn’t have let Traci finish those rooms alone. I knew something would happen after this morning. Travis. The dungeon. Darcy. Every damn warning sign had been s

Raiden’s POV The last two weeks had been absolute hell. Between the rogue attack, traitors inside the kingdom, preparing for the tournament, and the elders breathing down our necks every five damn seconds, my patience had officially disappeared somewhere around day three. I missed violence. At least violence made sense. Paperwork didn’t. “Human,” Nyx mutters sarcastically inside my head. “You’ve complained about paperwork seventeen times today.” “Make it eighteen.” “You’re dramatic.” “And yet you adore me.” “Debatable.” I fight the urge to smirk while sitting behind my desk inside the royal conference room. Across from me, Zayden lounges lazily in his chair looking far too relaxed for somebody currently helping run an entire kingdom. Kael sits beside his mate Samantha reviewing guest arrangements while stacks of tournament paperwork cover nearly every inch of the massive oak table between us. The warrior tournament officially begins in two days. Which meant tomorrow every A

Ralph’s POV “Travis, is everything packed and ready to go?” I ask as I look over the paperwork scattered across my desk. My beta stands across from me with his hands folded behind his back. “Yes, Alpha,” Travis replies with a nod. “The SUVs are loaded and everyone has already been told to meet in front of the pack house after breakfast.” Finally things were moving forward. The last two weeks had dragged on forever. Between preparing for the tournament, keeping in contact with Maddox, making sure nobody suspected anything, and trying to track down Traci every damn day, my patience was wearing thin. “How about Traci?” I ask while leaning back in my chair. “Have you managed getting ahold of her yet?” Travis shakes his head immediately. “No, Alpha. I haven’t seen her anywhere. I linked Corbin again earlier this morning. He claims he and a few warriors are still searching for her. Corbin assured me she’ll be inside the SUVs before departure.” “She better be,” I mutter while narrowin

Zayden’s POV Today officially marked the beginning of tournament week, which meant the palace had turned into complete chaos before sunrise even hit. Warriors moved through the halls nonstop carrying supplies while staff rushed around preparing guest suites, feast arrangements, seating charts, security routes, and Goddess knew what else. Outside the palace walls, patrol units rotated every hour while border guards doubled their numbers throughout the kingdom. Nobody trusted this peace. Not after Maddox’s attack two weeks ago. We all knew something was coming. The only problem? We didn’t know when. I lean back in my office chair while staring down at the tournament roster spread across my desk. One name still sits circled near the middle of the page. Traci Silver. Seventeen. Double alpha bloodline. No wolf. Omega ranking. Nothing about that girl made sense. “Human,” Onyx mutters. “I don’t like this.” “Glad we agree.” My wolf had been restless since last night pacing aroun
