Chaiwat POV(TEN YEARS AGO)It was late afternoon when I arrived at Korn's apartment. I was supposed to be home, but I preferred spending the little time I had after school with Korn. He was a final year student and a boarder living in a small furnished house built closer to the school by his father to avoid having to struggle to school. Korn's parents were rich, they owned million dollar companies in various countries and even more they were among the most influential people in Thailand. When I got to his door, I took a deep breath and knocked. He opened the door quickly like he had been expecting me. On seeing his tall huge frame, I left out a huge smile and threw my hands around his neck, pecking him all over his face.“Missed me?” I asked.Korn nodded slowly. His dark long hair covered part of his face.He was not happy, I could feel it and just when I wanted to ask him what's wrong, he cupped my cheeks in his hands, bringing his face closer to mine.I closed my eyes and waited

Chaiwat POV (TEN YEARS AGO)Throughout the weekend, I wasn't allowed to go out. My father has restricted my outings and my mother was in support of it. It made me more heartbroken that I could not leave, but confine myself to reading. The exams were coming up and so I had to prepare, but still I needed to speak with Thanakorn. He needed to explain better since I felt I meant more to him than just a mere breakup, but since he lived near the school, the only chance I could see him was when the weekend was over.I heaved a heavy sigh and flipped the next page of my textbook, wishing the weekend would end quickly.***Monday eventually came. I rushed to school in hopes to see Korn before classes began. He was my senior, meaning we only get to see each other before and after classes. So I waited. I waited at our usual spot close to the cafeteria. It was our secret spot where Korn would steal kisses and tell me how much I mean to him.And if that wasn't enough, we would stay behind after P

Thanakorn POVMy next stop after leaving my father's building was a popular clubhouse, which I usually visit after my return to Bangkok. I walked into the vast space and directly to the bar counter without taking a glance at anyone.“What would you like, sir?”“Whiskey.” I told the bartender, who nodded in response. As I sat, my eyes roved around for some seconds. It went from the dancing strippers, to the kissing couples, and then to the men getting entertained in their seats by half naked ladies.I sighed as my mind went back to my first meeting with him. It has been the same clubhouse we had met in, and now I recalled what had happened then, I could only heave a breath. At that moment, I gulped a mouthful of the amber liquid brought before me and shut my eyes as I felt it slide down my throat.Marriage?I scoffed.Getting married was the least of the things I wanted for my life. In fact, I was not interested in anything related to that and my father knew. So instead of letting him

Chaiwat POVA few hours after having all the work done, I laid flat on my bed, staring at the white ceiling of the large room. The room was not what I was used to, in fact, it was almost the same size as the house I grew up in. But unlike mine, this place was quite comfortable.Just then, my mind drifted to Korn. I rolled my eyes, recalling how he had eaten that spicy soup without batting an eyelid.Fuck him!“Or fuck myself for thinking about him when he actually doesn't give a fuck!”Suddenly, my phone rang.I glanced at it and reluctantly picked it up.“Chai?” I heard Wut say as I answered the call.“Yes, Wut.”I heard him let out a heavy breath. “Oh, thank heavens. I thought you wouldn't survive.”I narrowed my brows. “Why?”“You know, I mean, it is your first time working in someone's house.” he said then paused, “how is he? Your boss, I mean.”I hesitated for a moment. Then I remembered Wut knew nothing about my new boss. He had no idea I was working for Thanakorn.“Wut, I–”“Y

Chaiwat POVStupid? I scoffed hard. How dare he call me that?If he hadn't eaten such spicy food, he wouldn't have broken the glass and expected me to pick it up.“I even gave him his drugs–”Then I remembered the kiss. My eyes shut quickly in embarrassment as I recalled it. “Why did you have to kiss him, Chai?” I asked myself, “didn't we agree that we are over him now?”But still, I could not hold myself back. I had let my instincts take over and instead of reciprocating my kindness, he called me stupid.I scoffed again and pulled the blanket over my chest as I stared blankly at my room's door. Korn was out, leaving me alone in this vast mansion.Just then, a message entered my phone.I glanced at it laid by my side, then I reluctantly picked it up. I saw a message from Thida and began to wonder why she was texting me.“Oh shit! I forgot to call her.”But it has been days now, she must have forgotten about it. So I clicked the message with curiosity. Staring back at me was a video.
