THORNE MATTHEWS POV"NO... NO... NO!" I scream at the top of my lungs, my hands frantically yanking open wooden dresser drawers that are already completely empty.I drop straight down onto my knees on the cold floor, yanking the closet door wide open. There is absolutely nothing inside but bare metal hangers clinking against the rod, swaying gently back and forth as if they are giggling right at my misery."This cannot be happening to my wolf..." I gasp out loud, my chest heaving up and down as I fight back the hot tears. My vision goes totally blurry with hot, angry tears as I stumble backward into the empty hallway, my anxiety level hitting a thousand. I quickly open Sara Myers' bedroom door, my hands shaking with desperate hope.Completely empty. My mind reels fast. Blood roars super loud in my ears, drowning out every single sound except for my own pulse thundering like a heavy war drum.No... this is not real...I stagger all the way back to the small kitchen, flinging open the w

THORNE MATTHEWS POV"My wolf completely understands this is a massive choice to process," Dr. Kristi Miller tells me, her voice soft as she taps her glowing device. "But do not shut the door on the Stevens royal bloodline just yet."I pull my tunic tight over my chest, my skin tingling with sudden heat. "My body is not built for that kind of sacred magic. I am just a moonweaver apprentice. I never planned to carry a future alpha pup for anyone."Dr. Kristi Miller leans forward, her eyes locked onto mine. "The Matthews Moonfang pack needs stability, Thorne. And the rewards from Alpha King Boyd Stevens are absolutely legendary."I tilt my head, my inner wolf suddenly listening close. "What kind of rewards?""The initial offering for the first blessed moon heir is two hundred thousand pack resources," Dr. Kristi Miller says, a knowing smile appearing on her face. "It doubles for every single pup after that. By the fourth birth, your wolf walks away a multi-millionaire in our territory."

SOKKA STEVENS POV"Is that male the very tall and handsome warrior I just passed in the stone hall?" Dr. Kristi Miller asks, her eyes growing huge with excitement.I smile proudly. "He is the only one.""My wolf thought he heard a northern accent when he spoke.""That is one of his greatest qualities," I tell him with a smirk. "He has all the pack wolves falling down since his very first day here."Kristi laughs out loud. "My wolf sees exactly why! I am looking for a mate myself."We both laugh together for a quick second.I point toward the white leather chairs near my big desk. "Alright, tell me more about this male before his wolf gets here."Kristi nods his head. "I already told you everything, Sokka. Thorne is a very sweet young male. My wolf has known him for eight winters."I frown deep. "Why does he still come for health checks if his wolf is not doing anything with any alpha? I mean, he is not getting any action.""Stop being so petty, Sokka. Male wolves still need regular bo

THORNE MATTHEWS POV"We require your wolf to live right on-site in our Silverclaw Guest Lodge," Sokka Stevens says, looking directly into my eyes. "It is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home packed with luxury furs. It sits right on our family land, but our wolves would still have to jump on a hunting beast or a fast forest cart just to get out there. Unless my wolf just wants to get a little trail exercise. You just never know how my spirit might feel. It is totally private, has no rogue spies, but it is super secured by the royal guards."Ellis Johnson mutters under his breath, looking completely stunned. "That is a whole separate lodge. A big ass lodge, brother.""Additionally, our family will provide one other huge perk each moon cycle," Sokka adds with a warm smile. "An extra five thousand pack resources for whatever your wolf desires or needs. This begins the exact moment your wolf moves into the guest lodge.""Wow," I whisper out, my chest tightening fast.Sokka nods his head f

ABBY MATTHEWS POV"My wolf will never touch those shadow-leaf pipes or act like a complete fool ever again," I tell Thorne, shaking my head fast."Alright, do not talk too much about my past mistakes," Thorne grins, looking down at his large male hands.I lean closer across the wooden table. "I am just saying, Thorne. My wolf is totally alone now. I really wish someone could save me from this wild pack life, but my wolf hurts people and pushes them away. What I am saying is, do not push Ellis Boyd away. Maybe if your wolf shows him that you care, then he will know exactly how to move forward. Has your wolf ever thought about that?"Thorne swallows super hard. "I remember doing that one single time before," he says, thinking back to the night their wolves almost mated in the woods. "That did not go as planned at all. So I do not know. Right now, my wolf would rather not try. Anyway, I have to get ready. Our fire-hawk transport leaves the pack borders in a couple of hours. I cannot miss
