THORNE MATTHEWS POV"My claws do not assemble around pathetic omegas whose essence grid variables violate my tactical parameters," I bark back flatly, shifting my dominant male shoulders to brush straight past his bulky frame in the doorway.Ellis Johnson falls into dynamic lockstep directly behind my heels, throwing a vicious, razor-sharp glare at Abby Matthews over his shoulder. "Maintain active communications with our secure link, Abby. But your physical vessel looks remarkably optimized. Ensure your wolf keeps that operational standard.""His vessel looks highly exceptional, does it not?" Randall Kirkland sneers from the hearth, his large hand gripping the back of Abby's leather tunic. "My own hands have been keeping his stomach entirely saturated with fresh game and his primal desires thoroughly satisfied."Ellis lets out a dark, guttural male grunt under his breath as we descend the stone steps. "Negative, Randall. Your blood brother Dale has been aggressively smashin' those thi

THORNE MATTHEWS POV“Who do you think that royal male is sub-frequency paging out on the stone balcony?” Ellis Johnson mutters, resting his broad shoulders against the solid timber island while swirling his crimson berry nectar.I shift my tight leather trousers, my knuckles whitening as I grip the edge of the counter. “My wolf doesn't care. Sokka is probably just coordinating tactical resources or pack business for the lineage.”Ellis tilts his rugged face, a dark, knowing smirk cutting across his mouth. “Bullshit. His beast is absolutely contacting his step-uncle—you know exactly who I mean… Supreme Alpha Lord Boyd Stevens.”My pulse spikes instantly at the mention of Boyd, my inner wolf striking the walls of my chest like a caged predator. I force my facial muscles to lock into a cold, neutral mask, but the sudden heat radiating up my throat completely betrays my submission. “Perhaps,” I mutter flatly, keeping my vocal cords down to a low, rough growl.Ellis catches the spike in my

“His paws are legally incapable of executing that escape,” I retort sharply, my own alpha-blood voice rising in intensity as the room thickens with competing scents. “The sacred mate bond contract explicitly dictates that his physical frame must remain locked inside the guest lodge until the future alpha pup is delivered, and for an additional six weeks postpartum to ensure the royal heir receives an abundance of pure moonbearer breast milk to thrive before his departure. Therefore, exiting our perimeter is a zero-percent option since his own mark consented to those explicit tribal terms.”“And there it is,” Boyd growls out, shaking his massive head in pure, disgusted amusement. “Every single dynamic in your existence is a damn business contract. The boy is just a fucking resource transaction to your mind, exactly like the reality of our own marriage.”My nostrils flare violently, my royal perfume turning sharp, but my facial mask remains unbroken. “Your wolf was fully aware of my str

I give a slow nod, tracking the immense psychological depth masked beneath his rugged exterior but intentionally refraining from probing his boundaries. “Well, the structural engineering was successful. Your alpha frame developed into an exceptional specimen.”“My spirit appreciates the assessment,” he smiles handsomely, his dark eyes meeting mine with a sudden, concentrated intensity that causes my pulse to skip a beat. “Identify your original territory coordinates. Where did your wolf run before this cycle?”“The Raven Hollow Pack Settlement,” I answer instantly, though a tiny, involuntary wave of historical shame colors my scent profile.Boyd’s eyes narrow by a fraction of a millimeter, but his facial muscles remain completely locked in a neutral mask. His network knew the Raven Hollow settlement intimately—his shadow units frequently executed covert tactical operations within those impoverished border sectors. But his tongue wasn't about to release that tactical data to my ears. “

THORNE MATTHEWS POVI was leaning against the mahogany kitchen island when the phone screen lit up, Boyd's name flashing against the dark wood like a warning.“Just kidding—well, a little bit… Anyway, what is the status, birthday king?” Ellis’s voice crackles over the digital connection, thick with lazy amusement.“My system demands you terminate that specific vocal designation immediately, Ellis,” I growl back, though a involuntary smirk pulls at my lips as I smooth down my fresh white combat jeans.“My tongue is merely stating raw physical facts, brother,” Ellis chuckles, his voice dropping into that familiar, teasing register. “Those massive warrior hips and thick thighs are only going to expand significantly wider to make room for that Silverclaw alpha pup.”“Shut your mouth, warrior,” I huff, adjusting the hem of my pink and white fitted training tee.“Well, it is about damn time your boots vacated that guest lodge anyway,” he says, his tone shifting to a proud rumble.“Ellis, my
