"You ain't ready for this, Thorne," Victor Stevens growled, his golden wolf eyes flashing as he leaned back against the counter in the Moonfang Harvest House."Shiiit, says who?" I teased, adjusting the waistband of my cotton tunic over my six-month bump."Says me," he responded, his voice dropping into a thick, low rumble. My breath hitched, my core twitching with a sudden, humiliating wave of heat at his tone. But I caught myself instantly. I was six months along with the Supreme Alpha Lord's twins, my body was still recovering from Sokka's poison, and flirting with Boyd's primary Enforcer was dangerous territory."You got me. You might be right," I admitted, backing up toward the doorway. "Look at you startin' with me and shit. We should probably check out. I don't wanna be hanging around the border all night."Victor nodded, stepping in line behind me as we walked toward the front entrance where the elderly pack guard was tallying supply crates. As we waited, Victor kept tossing s

"Don't say it, Sokka," Dr. Kristi Miller interrupted sharply, her gaze darting toward the heavy iron doors of the Stevens Alpha Dominion Hall. "The walls in this citadel have ears, and if Boyd finds out what we did during the surrogate selection, he'll rip both our hearts out.""He already threatens to rip my throat out every time I mention Thorne's name!" I spat, pulling my hand away from my face as my claws pricked against my skin. "Boyd slammed me against the stone wall of his private den less than two hours ago because I called Thorne out!"Kristi froze, her breath catching as her eyes scanned my neck. "He put his hands on you? The Supreme Alpha?""He pinned me by my collar until my boots were dangling off the flagstones," I snarled, my teeth grinding so hard my jaw ached. "He told me if I stress Thorne out, if his blood pressure spikes even a little while he carries those twin heirs, we are going to have a massive problem. He is protecting that hidden Moonborn maiden like he is a

"Don't move, Boyd," Sokka whispered, his hand pressing against his bruised neck as he backed away toward the edge of the sectional in my private quarters within the Stevens Silverclaw Citadel. "If you touch me again, the Grand Wolf Assembly will strip your title as Supreme Alpha Lord before the next full moon."I clutched my heavy, swollen belly, the sharp pain from the forced cramp tearing through my lower abdomen as I glared at Sokka. My wolf growled, deep and lethal, the heat of the true mate bond flaring beneath my skin where my mark pulsed against my shoulder."You don't get to threaten him, Sokka," I rasped, my voice trembling with raw anger as I held onto Boyd's heavy leather belt for support. "You forged the documents at the Silvermoon Healing Sanctuary. You hid the Moon Goddess Prophecy and tried to use me as a Sacred Moonbearer just to keep control of the First Alpha Legacy!"Sokka let out a bitter, blood-stained laugh, wiping a drop of crimson from his jawline. "You think y

"You're calling me 'Ellis' now, Thorne?" Boyd Stevens rumbled through the speaker of Ellis's phone, his voice laced with that heavy Alpha frequency that made the hair on my arms stand up.I held the device steady, my jaw clenching as the screen showed my step-uncle sitting in the dark leather chair inside Boyd Moonkeep. He was stripped down to a thin tunic, his broad chest rising and falling, his dark golden eyes locked onto mine through the glass."That's the name you use when you're acting like a stranger, Boyd," I said, my voice flat, holding the phone close so Ellis Johnson wouldn't miss a single word. "And right now, you're the biggest stranger in the Silverclaw Dominion.""Thorne, don't do this over a damn mind-link or a phone call," Boyd growled, his jaw ticking as his wolf stirred visibly behind his eyes. "Where are you? Victor said the Silverclaw Guest Lodge was completely empty when he pulled up.""I left," I said simply, resting my hand on my heavy, swollen belly as the twin

Victor Stevens pulled the heavy timber doors of the Boyd Moonkeep shut, his dark golden wolf eyes burning in the dim candlelight. He stripped off his leather hunting vest, tossing it onto the table before stepping up to Ellis Johnson, his bare chest glistening with rain and sweat."I didn't bring you to the Moonkeep to stand there talking about my sister, Ellis," Victor rumbled, his voice dropping into a dangerous, heavy Alpha frequency that sent a sharp shudder down my spine.Ellis gripped the edge of the carved oak counter, his claws extending slightly into the wood as his breathing hitched. "You brought me here to keep me out of Boyd's way while he deals with Sokka.""I brought you here because I've wanted to mark you since the night the Matthews Moonfang Pack fell," Victor said smoothly, closing the distance between them until his towering frame completely shadowed Ellis. He reached out, his thick, calloused fingers pinning Ellis’s chin, forcing the smaller wolf to look him dead i
