All Chapters of Omega Hunted : Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

"You're making things up," I snarled, slamming my hands onto the desk and standing up so fast my chair rattled against the floorboards. "My body was under stress from your stupid Voice. That's all it was. Now get the fuck out of my office before I call the guards."Evander didn't flinch. He opened his mouth to reply, his eyes dark with something frustratingly close to concern, but a sharp knock on the door cut him off. Before either of us could say a word, the heavy door swung open, and Officer Brynn stepped into the room. He took one look at the tension between us—me leaning over my desk breathing heavily, and Evander standing stiffly in front of it—and cleared his throat.I glared at the officer, daring him to or give an expression concerning me and Evander."General Valerius," Brynn said, bowing his head slightly. "Pardon the intrusion, Your Highness, but the King requires the General in the war room immediately."Evander didn't break eye contact with me for three whole seconds. "W

We headed straight for the medical wing before the halls got crowded. Sian was already in his office, setting out tools on his desk. He looked neat as usual—clean lab coat, dark hair brushed back, looking like an innocent Omega who never broke a single rule in his life. He froze the second Oliver shut the door behind us and locked it. "Your Highness," Sian said, looking between me and Oliver. "The clinic isn't open yet. If you need something—" "Save it, Doc," I grunted, sitting down hard on an examination stool. "This isn't a social visit." Sian looked at my face, taking in my pale skin and the sweat on my forehead. "You look ill, Prince Theodore. If this is another one of your attempts to—" "It's not," Oliver cut in, stepping between us. "We need a blood panel and a pheromone scan. Off the record. No logs, no reports to the council." Sian stared at Oliver like he was crazy. "I don't do off-the-record exams. Every scan automatically goes to the palace directory. It's roya

My heart slammed against my ribs so hard I thought my father would hear it."Maintenance issues are for the quartermaster to deal with, General," My father said dismissively, already turning back toward the stairs. "Dismissed. Rest up. We have a full council meeting at noon to review the reports.""Yes, Your Majesty," Evander said, bowing his head. The King marched off, his royal guards falling into formation behind him. I didn't waste a single second. I turned on my heel to follow, eager to get as far away from the military bay as humanly possible, with Oliver keeping a tight pace right beside me."Theo," Oliver whispered under his breath, his voice laced with panic. "He knows. He fucking knows.""Shut up and keep walking," I gritted out, keeping my eyes locked on the end of the corridor."Prince Theodore."Evander's voice boomed down the hallway. I froze. Before I could speed up my pace, footsteps echoed behind us. Evander cut across the hall, stepping cleanly into my path and bloc

EVANDERTheo’s eyelids lifted. His dark eyes were glazed with pleasure, but after a moment, horror took over. Horror and wariness, as if he were bracing for a blow.My gaze traveled down to my own hand wrapped around Theo’s throat, then to the raw, bloody bite mark on his neck. The mark I’d left.I couldn't look away. Blood trickled from the small wound, and something like satisfaction twisted my insides, mingling with a deep unease.Modern Alphas didn’t bite each other’s throats. They certainly didn’t draw blood. It was taboo for a reason.“Let go.”The voice seemed to come from far away.I couldn’t tear my gaze from the bite mark or my hand around his throat. The sight was enthralling. I squeezed.“Evander,” said a shaky voice. “Get off me.”I didn’t move.“Evander!”I flinched, suddenly aware of my surroundings.I was lying on top of Theo. His bare legs were splayed to accommodate my thigh between them. My thigh was wet with his come. Theo was still half-hard, and I was harder.“Le

A soft knock on my door pulled me out of my thoughts.I looked up from my desk, quickly adjusting my collar to make sure the bandage on my neck was completely hidden."Come in," I called out, keeping my voice as even as possible. The door slid open, and a young palace servant stepped inside, bowing his head. "Your Highness, Queen Carina has requested your presence for a private dinner in her dining room. She wishes to speak with you immediately."My stomach dropped. The last thing I wanted to do right now was pretend everything was fine over dinner, especially with my mother. She noticed everything."Tell her I'll be there in ten minutes," I said."Yes, Your Highness." The servant bowed again and stepped out, letting the door click shut.I sat there for a second, taking a deep breath. I went back to the bathroom mirror, checking my neck one last time. The collar covered the bandage, but my skin was pale, and the dark circles under my eyes made me look like a corpse. I hadn't slept a w
