Lahat ng Kabanata ng REJECTED BY THE ALPHA, CHOSEN BY THE MOON: Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

ELARA'S POVI stepped forward to grab the pup as Dante and Sylvia stood by the side, watching. Just then, I heard a low growl.I turned. It was a wolf. From the looks of it, the mother wolf. The wolf kept growling repeatedly as its eyes scanned over us one after the other. Immediately its eyes landed on Sylvia, the intense anger on the wolf's face changed and the wolf softened.Within minutes, I heard the cracking of bones and whimpers, she had changed back to her human form. Sylvia rushed to drape her cloak over her as I picked up the baby and cradled the baby in my arms.As I walked over to the woman lying on the ground, she stretched out her hands for the baby and I held it out to her."Thank you" she whispered as she took the baby into her arms, before turning to face Sylvia."Sister" she said as tears welled up in her eyes.Sister? Beros and I turned to look at each other. Sylvia had said she didn't have any family back at the eclipse moon pack."Sister?" Dante blurred out. Sylv

ELARA'S POVWe had been walking for a few hours and the forest had thinned gradually, making way for a less dense grassland. That just meant we were getting closer to the eclipse moon pack."How much further do you think it is?" I asked no one in particular."About a day's journey miss" it was Mina that spoke up.I nodded in reply. The ring had resumed its usual tugging it and I paid it no mind as we continued walking in silence.Sylvia and Mina chatted along the way about the old times when they spent time together and also about Mina's new mate who was as excited to meet Sylvia. "Why did Mina's mate not accompany her on this journey?" I asked Beros quietly as I slowed down to walk beside him, allowing Dante to catch up with the women in front."Apparently, he works in the queen's army and wasn't granted a leave, but Mina was, so she had to""Ahhhh" I said, taking in the information."That's strange" I said."What's even stranger is the mate allowing her travel this far while being

ELARA'S POVLuna Alicent requested a meeting the next morning, and as I prepared for it, there was still no sign of Beros, he had been gone all night. He was nowhere to be found.I couldn't sense him too, could he have cut off our connection?"Are you ready miss?" I heard Mina's voice from behind me."Yes I am" I said, without turning to face her."Okay, My mate is ready to escort you to the pack house" she said, as she took a step closer into the room."Is everything alright? She asked further, without waiting for an answer.I didn't reply. I couldn't. But I was sure she knew what the issue was."I heard, yesterday" she paused "the argument".I turned to face her, wondering what else she must have heard. A slight feeling of embarrassment welled up but it was quickly replaced by sadness."He'll be back though, don't worry" she said."How sure are you of that?" I asked her, Beros and I had never argued, not once, in all our years of being together. He had never argued with my decisions

ELARA'S POV"What happened?" Beros' voice was the first thing I heard the minute I was back in the throne room. He was back.I turned to face him. "What happened?" He asked again. He walked up to me and touched my hands "you are cold, where have you been?" His questions were so fast, it gave me no time to answer him."Your highness, where? What happened?" Mina's mate asked his Luna. We had been gone for a while."You were gone for nearly a day" he said, that confirmed my suspicions.I didn't think we'd have been gone that long, but I guess being in the past didn't operate on the same time frame as being in the present. It was barely an hour in the past."Talk to me" Beros asked, looking worried."I'll tell you about it Beros, I have the ring". I said, stretching out my hand to him.His eyes shone as he saw it. Then his face faltered, replaced with guilt "I'm sorry I wasn't here, with you" he said."It's alright, it's fine. Trust me" my heart still ached, but for now, everything was fi

ELARA' S POV"Take a walk with me?" Luna Alicent's message read, it came just as the sun was setting. And right now, I was on my way to the pack house where I would meet her. Luna Alicent, Mina, the same person, yet centuries, no. Millenniums apart. My sister, something I had never ever dreamed of having. Not even while at the dark light pack, in all my years, I never imagined I had a family, more or less a family that was reborn? What were the chances? These were the thoughts that ran through my head as I made my way to the pack house, it was already in sight. Beros was grumpy when I left him, he had insisted on coming with me, but I knew this was something I had to do with Alicent alone, as family."Finally, you're here" she smiled softly as she opened her arms wide and pulled me into a hug the minute I was close to her. It caught me off guard, for someone rumored to be strict , she sure had a grand way of showing affection. Well, I guess I wasn't the only one in need of a family t
