Then bond that felt like fire

ELARA'S POVI could feel a tingle down my spine, he smelled so beautifully, I was... happy? I could smell him while I scrubbed the kitchen clean and then suddenly a sharp pain....Blinding flash of lightShiny shoes on my face...A voice growling "no"Everything kept fading in and out of consciousnessThen I heard it. "I reject you Elara Cornell "I struggled to see the face behind the voice but I couldn't. Another blinding flash and then I woke up abruptly."Oh my!!it was a dream" I said to myself.I was feverish and my heart was beating like crazy. I pressed one hand to my chest and tried to calm my nerves while getting ready to stand up. I could already see the first rays of daylight from my windows.Another morning."It's another day, another horrible day to be at this place", I said to myself the minute my heart calmed down.Waking up here always felt like stepping into something I would never escape, the sleep and my dreams were an escape. But today, my dreams failed me."I'd be

Thrown into the dungeon

ELARA'S POVI couldn't tell if I was dreaming again, I couldn't trust my dreams and my reality anymore, I couldn't tell the difference. My body felt cold, I shivered all through. My back felt so cold.I slowly opened my eyes, it was pitch black, my heart started beating again, slowly, my eyes started getting used to the darkness.I think I was in the dungeon, the lights at the end flickered on and off, there was a very dim light in cell, I couldn't see more than a few feet ahead of me, but if I listened carefully, I could hear the breathing of someone else close, maybe the next cell.I had been in the dungeon only once before, to do a bit of cleaning, and that's why I could recognize where I was."But why would the Alpha throw me in here?"And as if by natural selection, all the memories came rushing back. The dream, the pain, the rejection. It hit me like a bolt of lightning, suddenly I felt goosebumps all over my body. And then fear... I started getting scared."What if he decides t

The Aftermath

ELARA'S POVMy heart skipped a beat... no... several beats. I thought my heart had stopped for a few minutes, but it was only for a moment."Why is he doing this? I am of no use to him" I thought to myself.I guess my only option was to beg for my safety, for my life."P...pl..please... Alpha.. Alpha Kane, I am of no use to you, I will gladly be banished from the pack and I will never set foot in here again, please let me go" i said to him, as I felt the anger rolling off off him in waves and I felt the weight of his alpha authority on me, pressing down on me, suffocating me.I hear footsteps walking away from me, and I am relieved, thinking the Alpha has listened to my pleas and decided to banish me instead of torturing me, but then the footsteps suddenly stop and with a thundering voice he says."You have no right to make a request, no right to beg for anything" "Please, I just want to be out of your life and let you be, I promise you will never see me or smell me around your pack

Twisted Logic

THIRD PERSON POVBack in his chambers, the alpha paced around the width of his room, occasionally growling loud enough for his guards stationed at his door to hear him."Fuck!" he yelled out loud."I remember when that bastard was picked off from the pack borders, if i knew a day like this would come, I would have had her killed a long time ago, and maybe I would have been giving another mate" the alpha said with a growl while pacing. He took off his button, ripped off his shirt and flung it to the ground. The alpha was angry, in fact, the alpha was pissed at the situation. His thoughts of having a mate worthy of having his heir seemed like a mere dream to him now."Something has to be done about this" he said loudly, all the while still pacing and letting out occasional grunts of displeasure. He wracked his brain for a possible solution. And then it clicked, he realized the bond should have been broken the minute he rejected her, but it hadn't broken, and he couldn't kill her just ye

Her turmoil

ELARA'S POVI felt a sharp pain that woke me from my sleep.I had become used to pain at this point, I experienced pain every day from this bond, but this, this pain was different. It engulfed my whole body, bathing me in aching pain as if hot coal was poured on my body. This pain wasn't focused like the pain from the bond, it was all over my whole body.I struggled to open my eyes and found darkness staring back at me."What... what's going on?" I whispered to myself in the darkness of the prison cell. Then the realization came."I might not make it through this pain".I had already been sad and mistreated for days now, enduring pain I haven't been able to talk to anyone about, and now..."Please ....please... help me... anyone" I whispered.I know the guards couldn't hear me, they couldn't help me.My head was pounding and everything was just pain, blinking my eyes brought me pain, tears flowed freely down my cheeks.I was too weak... too weak to even cry for help. The alpha was rig

The first test

ELARA'S POVI heard the sound of my cell door opening again, it never ended nicely whenever my cell door was opened.I had started getting used to expecting pain whenever I heard it being opened, maybe today would be different, I thought to myself. There was a guard standing there with a light and he said to me "You. Up".I tried standing up as carefully as I could because my whole body ached from Yvette's assault.I stood on my feet and my legs trembled, but I knew I had to be strong or it would even be worse. The guard turned and started walking, I walked behind him and tried to keep up to his pace."Please. How long have I been here?" I was hoping he would reply to me because he was the one that brought me bread and water daily. I didn't hear a word from him for a few moments."A week," he said. I guessed rightly then, he had given me food for 6 days, it was hard to keep track of time in the dungeon, it was underground and morning or night didn't make a difference. He walked brisk

The beginning

THIRD PERSON POV 18 YEARS AGO The forest had always known her, even before she knew herself. In the pouring night, occasionally brightened with flashes of lightning. A sound was heard from the woods. "Did you hear that?" One of the guards said to his partner. "Hear what?" His partner replied. "That. Listen carefully, it sounds like....a baby" the first guard said. The second guard strained his ear and listened carefully, and truly, piercing through the storm and the thunder, a loud shrill cry could be heard, far into the woods. His eyes widened. "Who could have left a baby in the woods?" He said to his partner. "I don't know, should we check it out?" The first guard replied. The second guard nodded and they started walking towards the sound. They tried sniffing their way, but they couldn't get a scent of a wolf, and the rain only threw off whatever scent they tried to pick up. The rain quenched the fire from their torches but they moved on anyway. After some m

A flicker of resolve

ELARA'S POV I looked around frantically, as much as my back would allow me. Trying to find the source of the voice. "Who is that?" I said into the darkness. No reply. "Please, tell me who you are? Are you here to help me? I pleaded. Silence again. "Please, whoever you are, I need your help now more than ever. I can sense you, I can sense the cold before you speak, please tell me who you are?" I asked while straining my ears to listen. After a few moments, I knew I was not going to get a reply. The voice decided when to talk to me. This dashed my hopes, I had thought I had someone, anyone, looking after me and assuring me. "It must be my mind playing tricks on me, I guess" I resigned. "But what if there actually was someone to help me, how would they even get in and get me out of here?" I chuckled sadly to myself at the realization that I might just be doomed to a life of suffering and maybe. Death. I was scared for whatever plans the Alpha had for me. I am scare

The weakened bond

THIRD PERSON POVThe alpha was in the bed with Yvette, pleasuring her and himself, at the same time causing unimaginable pain to Elara. He smirked because he knew she would be suffering and he loved the thrill of it, he could feel her pain through the bond.Suddenly, amidst Yvette's moans and his thrusts into her, the bond suddenly dimmed, he found it hard to reach. He stopped his thrusts."My lord, what's wrong? Don't stop now" Yvette moaned. The alpha took a few steps back, Yvette watching him with hawk eyes. "What could be wrong now?" She thought to herself."What did she do? Why can't I feel the bond anymore?" He thought to himself as his rage kept on building. He couldn't hold it in anymore."Go" he said to Yvette, she scrambled for her clothes and hurried out of the room, fuming, making a silent promise to make Elara pay for this. After Yvette left, the Alpha stood stunned for a few minutes, desperately trying to reach for the bond, to find the burning heat of the bond. He cou

What the divinator saw - pt 1

ELARA'S POVThe silence in the hall was so thick, you could almost feel it on your skin. One of the elders leaned forward, he was the oldest of the three, his hair, as pale as ash, fell over his shoulders and down the back of his robe. The deep lines on his face made him look strict, but his eyes held no anger.Only coldness. The Elder studied me for a long moment, like a puzzle. Then he said,"The Alpha claims the bond has been disturbed".Murmurs started all over the hall."Silence" he said, and the murmurs stopped almost immediately."In all werewolf history, a bond has never weakened without interference" he said, his voice calm, and carrying across the hall."A bond does not dim without it being tampered with, and you..." he pointed his staff to me "are the only one capable of doing that because the bond belongs to you and the Alpha, and the Alpha claims not to have done that" he continued."I didn't..." I tried to say"Silence" he said calmly, and my words stuck at my throat, hi
