Luna's Prime Time Rebirth のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

Ambrose POVNeriah looked comfortable in the kitchen. I know it isn’t for the love of cooking. It’s been out of necessity. It’s sobering. The back of my mind is still thinking back to Matt’s investigation. He still hasn’t uncovered anything about a baby. I really want to understand why she keeps crying for a baby. She hasn’t been completely forthcoming about it, but I am going to leave that topic alone for now. What’s really concerning me is that Neriah’s father has been stealing away her inheritance. I want to know more about her mother and the circumstances around her death. She died shortly after Neriah was born. Then Jemisha is born two months later, which means Neriah’s father was already having an affair with Neriah’s stepmother. Her mother would have had to feel betrayal pains. She gives birth in a weakened state. Did it cause her death? Why didn’t she leave? Then there is the issue of the inheritance, which is wrapped up in the vote that her father wants to abolish the firstbor

Ambrose POVMonte told me what happened with Silas, and once again, I’m proud of Neri. I just wish she would lean on me for help. She will be waiting for me tonight to discuss what I have found. I am going to work behind the scenes about that vote, though. I won’t let her be robbed while she is here trying to win a competition. She went to her dressing room after everything that happened with Silas; she told Monte she was tired. This past week has been trying for her. She has had to deal with Silas chasing her, and Jemisha starting rumors. She has dealt with sabotage and humiliation. She is barely eighteen. I sometimes forget how old she is because she is dealing with things no one should have to at her age. She should be happy and looking for her mate. This is the time of her life when she should be living with endless possibilities for the future, and instead, she is facing expulsion from her own pack. She is facing mounting pressure from this show. She is having nightmares about a p

Ambrose POVMonte mind-linked me that Neri was going to be waiting for me in her room. Once the dinner was over, I made my way to the elevator. Jemisha caught up to me.“Prince Ambrose, I apologize for my sister’s behavior tonight. I know you get along well with her. I hope tonight doesn’t make you look down on her,” she said.Could she be any more obvious? I looked her in the eyes. “Not at all, Ms. Jemisha. Actually, after tonight, I’m even more impressed with your sister. Good night.”I walked into the elevator door that had just opened and pressed the close button. As the door closed, I saw a flash of jealousy in Jemisha’s eyes. She clearly doesn’t want Neri to have anything good in her life. Unfortunately for her, she doesn’t get to decide my feelings or the mate bond.I hate that I can’t even complete the mate bond. I’m constantly running after Neri, and she is keeping me at arm’s length. I don’t understand why she holds back. She wanted to get kicked off the show to find her mate

Neriah POVI left Heritage Mall with the warrior. He bought a sampler box of fudge. There were six different kinds. I stuck it in my bag. I don’t want to have to share it with Jemisha. By share, I mean she will take it, and Father and Regina will encourage it.Ambrose kept texting me, saying that the livestream for Jemisha is dramatic and over the top. I told him to keep watching because I got her a gift. It will put her in a corner and allow me to start exposing my father and Regina in front of an audience. He asked me what I bought, and I told him to continue watching. When I got to Moon Heart, the entire pack was decorated, and Jemisha’s face was on banners across the pack. Though I want nothing to do with my father, it still hurt.I was alone on my eighteenth birthday. I shifted by myself. There was no celebration for me. There wasn’t even a warm plate of food. Meanwhile, the entire pack was decorated for Jemisha. The pain in my heart only became worse as I entered the pack house.

Neriah POVMy father pulled me into his office. Now he towered over me, thinking I was going to be intimidated by him. Fat chance. He is a thief and suspect in my mother’s death. I will make him pay.“Neriah, you are overstepping your status! Know your place! Your sister is celebrating her birthday. She is going to shift soon. As her older sister, you need to be supportive!”“Who was supportive to me when I shifted, Alpha Wilmot?!” I growled back. “All your love is reserved for Jemisha, but you have never once considered me. I also carry your blood, and all you have ever done is ignore me. Now I need to make way for Jemisha? No!”“What did you just call me?” He growled.“I called you Alpha Wilmot, because you sure as hell are no father of mine!”“How dare you!”“I dare because I have no family, safety, or security with you!” I yelled back.“Is this because we pay more attention to Jemisha? Because we want you to step aside so she can find a good match.”“You want me to give her everyth
