After the Divorce, My Psycho Alpha Ex-Husband went feral のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

Scarlett POVI don’t know how long I was out. I woke up to a pounding pain in my skull.Everything was pitch-black. The air smelled of blood and damp mold. My body shivered. Am I dead?I tried to move my hands. My wrists were still tied tight behind my back, burning. That’s when I realized I was probably still alive.Once my eyes adjusted to the dark, I could make out the room. The three kidnappers were gone. So was Liliana. What the hell was going on?Right as I was trying to figure it out, a bright flashlight beam hit me straight in the face.“Luna’s here!”Whose voice was that?Had Jaxen come to rescue me?A rush of joy hit me. I struggled to stand up, but my hands and feet were still tied. My legs gave out, and I collapsed awkwardly onto the ground. The person with the flashlight ran over, helped me up, and carefully peeled the tape off my mouth.“Luna, are you okay?”“My head hurts so bad…” I didn’t know this person, but he called me Luna and was untying me, so he had to be one o

Scarlett POVI paced back and forth in the cold hospital room like a trapped wolf.My bare feet stung against the freezing floor. The headache from the kidnapping was still there, throbbing, but it was nothing compared to the claw-like pain ripping through my chest.Delaney kept circling me, her sharp lawyer's eyes trying to read me like a case file.“You’re not joking, right? You—you actually want to divorce Jaxen Hale? Did those kidnappers hit your head too hard? Or did they drug you?”I stopped walking and looked straight at her. She’d been there through all my crazy years—watching me study like hell, build a career, then throw every piece of myself at becoming good enough to stand beside the Alpha of Iron Claw Pack as his Luna. She knew how many nights I cried in secret. She knew how many times I told myself, Just hold on a little longer. The mate bond will kick in eventually.“I would rather not stay in a marriage where I’m the only one who actually cares,” I said. My voice was bi

Scarlett POVThe second Jaxen left, Delaney rushed back in.I was still sitting on the edge of the bed, eyes stinging, staring blankly at the door he had just slammed.“What did that asshole say to you this time?” Delaney hurried over, voice full of heartache and anger.I took a deep breath and tried to sound calm. “Delaney, help me with the discharge papers.”“You just woke up, and you want to leave? The doctor said, You need more observation!”“I would rather not stay here.” I cut her off and looked her in the eyes. “Can I stay at your place for a while?”Delaney was stunned. “Discharge… and go straight to my place? You’re…”“I want to live separately from Jaxen before the divorce,” I explained quietly. “I don’t have my place right now, and I would rather not look for one immediately. Staying with you… At least I’ll have you there. It’ll make me feel a little better.”She looked at me with complicated emotions.****Three days later, the doctor finally said I was okay to leave.Dela

Scarlett POVBefore I pushed the door open, I thought I was ready. But my stomach clenched hard. My chest felt as if someone were squeezing it. Breathing got tough. My throat went dry, my eyes burned, and a wave of nausea and humiliation hit me all at once. I almost turned around and ran.But I made myself stay. My fingers dug deep into the cardboard box.As long as the divorce wasn’t final, I was still technically Mrs. Hale. And according to Pack Law, I was the real Luna. Liliana was the one who came later. I wasn’t about to back down in front of the other woman.I took a deep breath, pushed all that mess of feelings down, straightened my back, and walked in.Liliana noticed me first. She shifted a little, fixed her hair, and quickly put on a polite smile. “Oh, Scarlett. I’ve been meaning to visit you in the hospital. Didn’t expect you to get out so fast.”I ignored her and walked straight to the couch across from them. I set the box on the coffee table, sat down, and kept my back st

Scarlett POVWhen Delaney got home from work, I was sitting by the window, back straight, hands on my knees. The window was cracked open. The night breeze made the curtains sway a little.Delaney stood in the doorway for a few seconds. “You scared the crap out of me.”I turned to look at her. She wasn’t joking.“Scarlett,” she said, tossing her bag on the couch and sitting next to me, “you okay?”“Delaney… am I really that useless?”Her face changed. She sat up straight and grabbed my hands. “Who said that?”“I did.”The way Jaxen humiliated me these past couple of days hit me like two hard punches. For years, I’d poured almost everything into him, trying so hard to make him love me, but I barely made any actual plans for my future.“He’s not worth turning yourself into this.” She held my hand. “But this is where you’re at, so let’s not talk about worth right now. Let’s talk about what you’re gonna do next.”“I don’t know,” I said.“Then start with the straightforward stuff.” She let
