Tristan's POV“What? You told your wife she's going to face the consequences of her actions? Have you finally lost it?” Kelvin screamed, his voice echoing through my office, and I rolled my eyes, wondering why he was being so paranoid about my actions.Kelvin had come over to the company after he heard what happened from Katherine, and like always, he thought that my actions were extreme, but I wasn't the one who had gone too far.It was Anastasia. She was the one who decided to risk her life just because she wanted to drown someone, and as her husband, I couldn't let her act unhinged like this anymore. I needed to let her know that her actions had consequences. I should have done that earlier, but it seemed this time was different. I wouldn't let her run wild again.“It has. You heard it. I'm asking the legal team to look into the charges she could be charged with…” I was saying, but Kelvin cut me off rudely.“Wait. You are pressing charges? Have you lost it?” He exhaled sharply as h

Tristan's POVI staggered backwards trying to get my thoughts on checks, but as I remembered how I acted towards Anastasia last night, made me almost choke on my blood. what a terrible husband you are Tristan Brooke. “Tristan, I know you are mad, but listen to me,” Serena said, but for the first time, I didn't want to listen to her.I had given her enough time to come clean about what happened, but she kept lying about it.How was I supposed to believe any of her words now?“I didn't lie to you… maybe because…” she was saying, but she suddenly clutched her stomach, and before I knew it, she let out a cough. When I looked at the floor, it was stained with blood.“I did something unforgivable. I should go and beg Anastasia for forgiveness,” she said as she ran towards the door, but I caught her before she could get there, my anger dissipating into thin air.“Did you just cough out blood?” I asked, panic rushing through my body as I held Serena in my arms, but she shook her head.“No, I

Serena's POVI waited patiently in the room for Tristan, but I couldn't keep my excitement to myself. I knew Tristan would also be elated with the divorce news, but as I remembered that Tristan might still not be over that video, I decided to keep up my act.It would be better to act as a helpless girl and have Tristan tell me about the divorce himself. That way, I would be the helpless one who stayed with him during the tough times of his divorce, buying myself and my son a chance in his life. In no time, I would be Mrs. Brooke.“Serena,” Tristan walked into the room with a bouquet of flowers, and I smiled, seeing how easy it was to fool him.“Tristan, you are here,” I called softly as he handed me the flowers.“I heard you have recovered well, so I brought you your favourite flowers,” he said, and my smile froze as I looked at the white lilies that I was holding. Those weren't my favourite flowers, but I beamed a fake smile, not complaining. That was how I had him wrapped around my

Tristan's POVDid the Lancasters have such nerve to lock me outside their villa?I stood outside the estate while my assistant tried to talk the security into confirming the orders again, but I wasn't that patient as I picked up my phone and dialled Anastasia's number. It felt so weird to call her, since she was always the one making the calls. I called her for a long time before she finally picked up, and I felt that it was deliberate.“What's it?” she breathed into the phone, her voice uninterested, and I bit my lips hard, wondering what she was up to.“I'm outside your estate. Tell the security to let me in.”“Oh, but I instructed them not to let any Brooke in. Don't make it hard for them, Mr. Brooke,” she breathed, and I hissed in frustration.“Are you not a Brooke and staying in that house? Ask them to let me in this instant!” I snapped, and she cackled on the phone.“Alright then, maybe you will be kind enough to take your beloved with you,” she said, as the call ended, and I co

Anastasia's POV “That insolent bastard!” My brother, Alexander, screamed as I entered the second living room, where he was waiting with my father. I knew he and my father's anger would be on the rise after Tristan's visit today, but I decided to send the maids out of the room first to avoid any rumours circulating. “Calm down, Alexander, your sister is back,” my father mumbled, and I could tell he was hiding his anger so Alexander wouldn't act out of place. “Are you still keeping calm after how that boy acted earlier? So what if his family is the most influential in the country? Does that mean he can…” Alexander rambled, his old grievances surfacing, but I didn't want to dwell on the past again. It was already bad enough that Tristan came into the Lancaster estate to rub his devotion to Serena in my face. He also disrespected my family, making me lose face, and as if that wasn't bad enough, he was threatening me with not signing the divorce papers. That man had really ruined the
