All Chapters of Goodbye, Alpha Black: Chapter 1 - Chapter 8

A Few Days AgoBlack was sitting behind his desk, typing away on his laptop when a soft knock suddenly echoed through the room.“Come in,” he said without looking up from his screen. The person on the other end obeyed, entered and slowly closed the door behind her.“Still working?” the very familiar voice asked softly, making him lift his gaze from his screen.“Just reading through the email Alpha Kade sent to me, but I’m glad you’re here.”“Are you now?” the woman said with a small smile making him pause what he was doing and look up as she approached his desk area. Her eyes never left him even as she settled into the visitor’s chair across from him.“I’ve told you not to sit there when it’s just the two of us. Come here,” Black commanded the moment her ass connected with the chair, his alpha aura rolling off his body just a tiny bit.“But what if someone walks in?” Tessa whispered, taking a quick glance at the door.“That’s for me to worry about, come to papa.” He gestured for her

Tessa had no idea how long she had been staring at the letter before she finally snapped out of it and slowly lifted her gaze back to Helen.“I know you’ve never liked me Helen, but that doesn’t give you the right to play this kind of prank on me,” Tessa said quietly, staring at her.Helen chuckled, crossing her legs the way she was seated on her chair. “You think this is a prank? Didn’t you see the Alpha’s seal on the letter?”“That’s exactly why this is ridiculous, because I know Alpha Black would never do something like this to me.”Helen let out a short laugh, “why? Because you’re fucking him?” Tessa’s heart almost stopped. How did she know about that?Helen smirked. “Why are you so shocked? Did you think no one would ever find out?” Tessa felt her chest tighten. That was impossible. There was no way Helen could know. She and Black had made sure to keep their relationship hidden. They only met outside the pack whenever she had time off work. The only moments they interacted ins

“Please, you can’t do this to me. This is my home. You must have the wrong address.” Tessa sniffled, already on the verge of tears. Her eyes already hurt from the amount of times she had already cried today.“I already told you ma’am, we have no business with you. We are only acting on the Alpha’s orders. We were instructed to clear out the place today as another person will be moving in this evening.”“No… no, there has to be some mistake. Black would never do this to me. Look…” she said, holding up the ring on her finger. “Black gave me this ring when he proposed to me a days ago. He and I are getting married… so there’s no way he would do this to me, please tell the other men to take my things back inside. I just need my space right now.”“Look ma’am, whatever relationship you believe you have with Alpha Black, you’ll need to discuss that with him. We’ll only stop if the Alpha tells us to. Other than that, I’m sorry. Excuse me.”Tessa stared helplessly as she watched him approach

Tessa had no idea how long she was out for, but the moment she was conscious again, she felt pains all over her body including a banging headache. She could hear voices around her but her hazy brain was too weak to interpret what was being said.Tessa slowly opened her eyes and was greeted with the beeping sound of the monitor. It took a while for her vision to clear. She took in her environment and realized she was in the hospital room, putting on the pale blue hospital gown. She saw the doctor, standing at the edge of her bed, discussing with two female nurses. He took a glance at the bed and saw that the patient had regained consciousness, then he rushed to her side, feeling her pulse. “How are you doing ma’am?” he asked softly, as though he had done this countless times before.Tessa stirred slightly. It was as though the voice of the middle age doctor had brought her back to reality. The memories of everything that had happened in the last few hours came rushing back to her, and
