Return Of The Forsaken She-Wolf のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 61 - チャプター 70

Iris’s Point of ViewI didn’t know how much time had passed since I woke up. I only knew that I was starving and needed to drink something as soon as possible. Before I left Blue Lake Pack, I was used to going days without eating, but now that was not the case. The spell in my cell was almost gone. Now I was regaining my strength, but it was becoming hard due to the lack of nutrients.Minerva hadn’t returned yet. I guess that whatever she did to communicate with Kayden wasn’t easy. She was the strongest wolf I knew, so for her to rest this long meant she was exhausted. I debated whether I should continue pretending that I hadn’t woken up yet or say something, but pretend that I was still under the drug’s effect.I didn’t know how much time I was supposed to be out, and I didn’t want to alert them by showing signs of early recovery. They would increase my dosage if they knew that I was stronger than they anticipated.Thankfully, my prayers were heard. Footsteps started approaching me,

Kayden’s Point of ViewTime was running out. In the evening, I felt Iris’s pain, and it was excruciating. It was only a few minutes while we were reviewing the details for the attack tomorrow. My soldiers had arrived but were staying in a hotel. We suspected that someone was giving information to the person who kidnapped Iris. It was clear that they had the help of someone to enter the pack and capture Iris.If I had time, I would find the mole, but right now, my first priority was to get Iris out of there. I will deal with that person later and ensure they don’t see the sun again. The pain that she felt was immense. It made me fall to the ground; my knees felt weak, my chest was burning, all my muscles ached, and my head felt heavy like someone was crushing my skull. That was the best way I could describe what I was feeling. It was the worst pain that I’ve ever felt, and if I was experiencing it to this extent, then it meant that Iris was having it much worse than me. The powerlessn

Iris’s Point of ViewI’ve tried to stay as still as possible. I had woken up a long time ago, but as they didn’t come for me, I supposed that the effect had to last longer. I have tried to communicate with Minerva several times, but I’ve gotten no response yet. The funny thing is, this time when I woke up, I didn’t feel as dizzy as last time.I was surprised because Hunter specifically asked them to give me a higher dose so I'd stay out longer. It was hard to keep my body still when it felt sore from that spell. It hurt badly. At some point, I thought that the pain had diminished, only to realize that I was passing it to Kayden, so I blocked him out.I didn’t want him to feel what was going on with me. It wasn’t good. I felt like my insides were on fire; everything hurt at that moment, from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I realized that Hunter wanted me to scream, so I restrained myself from that. I wasn’t going to give him the joy of seeing me weak. No way.The warlock

Iris’s Point of ViewThe fight with Hunter was hard. At first, we thought that we had everything under control until the demon inside of him decided it was time for him to take the lead. He used his darkness as a weapon, but I used my magic to combat it. It was hard to keep up, but Kayden and I worked together, and soon his defeat was in sight. The only problem we now had was that we didn’t have a way to trap the demon. We could knock him out and then take him to a cell until we figured out a plan, but that was risky. Demons can’t be contained that easily, and if they got away, many people would be in danger.“Do you remember that sword that we found in the north?” Minerva reminded me.“Yeah! But that is in one of our houses. We would need to teleport and leave Kayden alone.” I mumbled, thinking of another way to get to the sword.Minerva whimpered. Even if he was strong, we were reluctant to leave him alone. Neither Esmerie nor Stephan could help him. They had their own battle to foc

Iris’s Point of ViewI woke up with a new objective. I was going to catch my mother’s murderer. I had an idea of who it could be. My father wouldn’t have dared to kill her; he lived based on appearances, but my stepmother, on the other hand, had a lot to win. She was an omega, so if my father chose her as his mate, she could access all she ever wanted. My theory made more sense now that Kayden had confirmed my suspicions of Stephanie being my half-sister.Last night’s kiss with Kayden was fantastic. If Alec hadn’t interrupted us, I was sure we would have done much more. The way his lips felt against mine made my body feel hot all over again. I turned around to see Kayden lying by my side. He looked so peaceful while he slept. I started tracing his face with my fingers, admiring how handsome he was.Truth be told, I never considered myself beautiful. I was too short, too thin, and too weak. Then, with Esmerie’s help, I started building up my confidence. The first time I met Kayden, I c
