Ginetta Giordano placed the stack of invitations in front of Carlo Mandelli."I've finished writing the wedding invitations," she said."Thanks for your hard work." Pietro had me locked away in the holding room. It was pitch-black, and the air reeked of blood.I lay on the filthy bed, trying to ease the cramps in my belly.
