Chapter 1: The Meetup

Friday, June 29th, 2018

Terrance drove through a suburban area late at night, trying to find the location to Jennifer's house. The suburbs felt empty as there were no lights inside the houses and the streets were silent. He looked for a corner on the street to park his car, so that he may text Jennifer if he is close to her house. His phone is at a low percent and forgot to bring his charger. So Terrance texted quickly, so that he could make sure that he was at the right neighborhood.

"Am I close to your house?", he texted her.

Jennifer, who was brushing her hair while looking at the mirror. She received the message that Terrance sent to her. After Jennifer got done reading the message, she puts down the brush and checked outside her window if Terrance is close by. He was nowhere near by, so she text him back to see where he is at.

"I do not see you or any car near my driveway. What street are you at?", Jennifer replied.

Terrance's phone lighted up with the reply Jennifer just sent. He then checked his phone to see where he is at.

"Hilldrive. That is where I am at right now.", he texted her back with.

"Good. You are two minutes away from my house. Just keep on going straight, then you can park when you see 4567.", she notified him.

She then cleaned herself up quickly and goes downstairs to wait for him. Terrance received the text and started driving again to find her house. Jennifer went downstairs, she checks if everywhere in her living room and the kitchen was clean. The kitchen is clean with the food and drinks all prepared. The living room is clean, until she noticed that the basement door was not closed. She closed the basement door and double checked if the living room area was all clear. Meanwhile, Terrance drives slowly to check the house numbers. Eventually, he found Jennifer's house. He parked his car in her driveway. Then, he looked at himself in his car window. Terrance made sure that he looked and felt good for his date. After he felt confident about himself, he got out the car and walked toward to her door to ring the bell. Jennifer heard the doorbell rang and got excited that Terrance finally arrived. She checked one last time if her house was all clean and she is satisfied that her house looked perfect. She opened the door to find Terrance standing near it.

"Welcome Terrance!", she said to him.

Terrance gazed at her beauty as Jennifer was wearing a red dress with black high heels and a sexy red lipstick.

"Hi. Wow, you look..... amazing!", Terrance responded.

Jennifer fell in love with how Terrance looked as he was wearing a black suit and his muscles were showing.

"Aw, Thank You. You look really good as well. Come on in!", she told him.

Terrance stepped inside Jennifer's house and the door was closed.

The Dream Elixir
I must say that this book was indeed a beautiful one. It mirrored so many harsh realities of life and the fact that life is pain and pain is inevitable. We as humans can either chose to move on from the pain or die in the pain. Healing is a choice and a process.
