Synopsis
Krystabel Andez has a childhood that dealt with her in all ways possible. With a hardned heart and a workaholic attitude she promises not to fall in love. But there's always that guy that erupts butterflies. Etienné St Clair Laurent is her love interest, problem is, he has a girlfriend yet sparks are flying. She has to do the right thing. She either fights or flights.

PROLOGUE
The beast was not home so she was able to sneak into the forest to play and sit close to the lake for a while. After a while, she decided to go home because the beast found out that she wasn't home, she was going to be punished. She opened the door and the beast awaited her.
"Where did you go," he asked and I remained silent
"Answer me girl"
"I-I-I---went"
"Stop stammering"
"I went to the lake"
"What did I tell you about going to the lake"
"Nev-er---"
"Don't you dare stammer"
"Never go to the lake"
"So why did you go"
I didn't answer
"Did your mother know"
"No," I said with fear evident in my voice
"Good," he said with a full-blown smirk
"Go to your room" he commanded
"I don't want to go"
"Go or your punishment will be worse"
I entered my room and he locked the door behind me. He removed the belt holding his trousers up. Time for the worst. He unleashed strong strokes on me.
"Jack stop beating my daughter" I heard my mum's voice from the other side of the door
"This is none of your business" the beast yelled
I didn't know what happened next because I blacked out

Great, just great. You'd be surprised at the things you didn't know. Lila had said that. She knew, she knew that Ace liked me and she kept quiet. Who does that? Was that why she wanted me here? These last few weeks have been total hell for me. I lost a friend-we were more than friends-Krystabel. Meredith is pregnant with a baby I'm not ready for. My life just tipped into disaster.
