Chapter Two:Suffered In Their Hands
Yeah, right. It could be for a princess but not for a mere village boy at least for a prince. Since when did things change, Katonde questioned his instincts. In the old days, only girls were forced to a man and now today am forced to love and marry the princess. No! This will happen over my dead body! Katona had less to do but only to murmur some words of courage within his throat. The Black Mamba moved out of the bush. He was a big man,thick-necked, like a bull buffalo. His anger was unpredictable like one, too. He wore antelope-made skin clothes with a greenish painting that camouflaged with the immediate environment. A big necklace made from black Mamba’s skin ran diagonally from his shoulders across the upper chest, through the lungs, and to the back. Imani got even more terrified than the task before her. It was time to execute the plan and teamwork was necessary. Men lined up to have their arms painted with her dark ma

Chapter Three:The Wedding
The trumpet was blown signaling the beginning of the ceremony. "Ladies and gentlemen today we are gathered here to witness the expansion of the kingdom's family. I present to you princess TT of our great kingdom and his spouse Mr.Katonde ."The herald officially introduced our presence. We were separated, she followed the king and I followed my father as we started to descend the stairs. When we were close to the bottom I  noticed that the singing and chattering was diminishing slow by slow as we approached the bottom. I looked around and all the eyes were directed at me. Their faces displayed a mix of surprise, awe, wonderment, and jealousy. We stopped upon reaching the ground bottom. In informal English mixed with the local dialect, my father spoke : "Dear guests, gentleman, and lady . I wholeheartedly present to you my only son Katonde to get married to princess TT and brought us, grandchildren". The guest applauded despite all. I felt overwhel

Chapter Four:That Evening
For the period I have worked in the palace, each princess in the kingdom was allocated eight maids. They were charged with taking care of the respective princess. Princess TT was not an exception she had Imani and seven other maids who looked after her. Imani being her favorite of all they were best friends and confidants. They shared secrets and they safeguarded them as secrets. When I began dating Imani I knew princess TT was going to know Imani took an initiative to introduce me to her and I remember that day vividly. We had an evening hangout just after finishing my daily tasks in one of the posh castles in the south of the kingdom, the castle that was built on top of a stream from where you could appreciate how nature was created. She was as humble as a servant though I doubted how humble she was. By that time she was dating the Prince of the neighboring Lwanya kingdom who failed to marry her on allegation of what he termed as general misconduct by p

Chapter Five: The Shadow Wedding
They argue that the best time to carry out your assignments or rather concentrate is during the early hours of the morning .Most of the succesful people would argue that success is built when others are sleeping. This remind me of a certain kind of myth that exist in Africa where the young ones have been made to undersatnd that when you are born in afamily that you do not own a vast piece of land to cultivate and even build an estate on, it basically means that your great great grandfather liked sleeping and because of that the most prestigious estates,or talk of the most fertile land was acquired just when he was doing what he loved most and that is sleeping. In early two thousand years such arguments became even more realistic and practical to an extent that you will find or listen to a commercial advert in the local radio station as well as television broadcasting that :"Welcome to the prestigious land along Nairobi-Mombasa raod, few kilometers from the proposed industrial

Chapter Six: The King's Plan-Custom Under Siege
“Wololo Mayee!Wololo yayee!Rero Lero ni lero avolaye mkamba nomuvei !Wevare hutugamira imali nasaye amede"this chorus from the famous traditional wedding song was supposed to rent the air on the eve of the full moon. The same day I had suggested to be a bride price paying day. I had learnt to accept the situation and embrace the famous quote “if you cannot fight  them join them”. My hope to ever get out of the chains of the secret island kept on dwindling day in day out and slowly I had started fully accepting Princess TT as my wife .I had no option but to stay in marriage and cooperate .The above song is a traditional song translating to “Come one come all ,the day is here .Let us be happy because the wealth has increased in folds .We thank our girl for bringing to us a man .God bless him! ”The song is sang during the day of the bride price when the man's side squad matches to the girl’s homestead. At thi

Chapter Seven:Morals Of The Kingdom
Origin of what God has put together let no one put asunder. This biblical scripture written by the apostle Mathew of the new testament did play part in our marriage with my wife Princess TT as well as in the future with Imani. Whatever God has intended to do in our lives will always come to pass.No one has the power to ruin what God had planned in you or with you. Not even the powers of science can, maybe to cause a temporary delay. This got me thinking about the supernaturality of everything that exists and the idea of love sneaked in. Therefore I asked myself, what sustains love? What makes it work and work for the whole time. Is love a spiritual thing? What is your take?On whether we agree or we disagree, love is purely spiritual. Therefore it must have another aspect of spirituality that they can relate to. Remember, the body cannot communicate with the spirits, first, the body should kind of transform into a spiritual state for something to happen. Our baby was no

Chapter Eight: Rest In Peace
He who does not hear the advice of the wise one is bound to perish and perish forever. Forever in the sense of facing the most believed last stage of life which is death. There is a lot you can hide but not death at least for a sickness you visit a foreign hospital, country, or even continent to hide your situations but when it comes to death there is little you can hide, you just go. They argue and advise that do good while you still live as people will judge you and your name by the deads of your days on Earth. I believe doing good entails being able to understand and acknowledge what is good for you and others. The condition is not applicable in partiality unless otherwise. For instance, you own a cement production company whose asset value runs into a multibillion united states currency; such an investment definitely will give you an upper hand in many different perspectives of life. You will be a resident of leafy suburbs and you will lead a prestigious lifestyle. Y

Chapter Nine: The Contest
When a big tree goes down those creatures that depended on it are in trouble. The big tree had just been uprooted and there was a void in the kingdom it needed to be filled. The ball was now in the coat of the gods and the council of elders. The contest had to be set, everyone wanted it. It was sweet honey the Kingship came with all the privileges. If it was a job vacancy then it would have attracted more than five thousand applicants for a single position and if it was a young girl then all prospects were seen around the compound more often but the culture dictated that the seat be hereditary and it was clear that the firstborn child, especially of the male gender, could take up the throne in the circumstances his father fells sick or passes on. I knew less about brother Okusimba and the less included and not limited to a hardworking, determined, loving, and caring individual. He was local as many described him, their character was like darkness and daylight

I would not imagine being in an environment where I am befriended by the devils and if I would have attempted to imagine then it would be more terrifying.
