A bond mysteriously formed. Or was it tampered with? After a promise of a new mate to Connor, he suddenly felt like he was sharing the bond of the pack with someone but he did not pay attention to it as he did not want to have high hopes after the pain he went through for losing his mate, Anna. Lyra jerked up instantly as she felt the hush of pain drove through the veins in her neck region. She bit her lips to keep the scream in as she wriggled around in pain. She held her neck tight as if it was going to stop the pain but it was not working. It wasn't and she was in full agony. She thrashed around the bed, trying to reach for the glass of water there but her hand could barely reach it. Then suddenly, her body was on heat. It felt like thousand of needles were pricking soul and she was going to die. She stood up from the bed with great difficulty and ran into her bathroom, turning on the shower, she stood under it as it slowly calm her. What was happening? What sorts of pain was all of this? Why was she feeling this pain when she was not even mated yet? Was she going to die from this pain? Gosh, the pain was excruciating.
