Lyra jerked up instantly as she felt the hush of pain drove through the veins in her neck region. She bit her lips to keep the scream in as she wriggled around in pain. She held her neck tight as if it was going to stop the pain but it was not working. It wasn't and she was in full agony. She thrashed around the bed, trying to reach for the glass of water there but her hand could barely reach it. Then suddenly, her body was on heat.
