His Darkest Secrets

 CHAPTER ONE.

He saw her appear before him again this time around with a black knife cladded in dark clothes. Her face was always masked and her hair was always glowing with this invisible breeze around her. Her skin glowed in the dark and her steps were slow and heavy.

  Oliver could feel the hair of his skin rise and could hear the sounds of his thumping heartbeats. She raised the blood dripping knife to stab him but he screamed out of fear and woke up from such a drastic dream.

"Is it a nightmare again?" His mum asked worriedly. She rushed to his room immediately and she heard his screams.

"Yes Mum" he answered breathlessly and stared at his mum as if she was the devil in his dreams.

"She had a knife this time around mum,she almost stabbed me!" His voice croaked with fear.

"Oh dear, it's just a nightmare"she said and brought him to her embrace but he flinched.

"This is no nightmare Mum, there's a reason for these frequent nightmares and what kills me is that I don't know what it means" Oliver was at the verge of breaking down and yet his mum wasn't convinced of his barbaric saying.

"Get prepared sweetheart, I'll be making bacon and pancakes for breakfast" his mum kissed him and went straight to the kitchen. 

Oliver seethed in anger and fear and his fingers balled into a fist, this wasn't a joke! Why would his mum not believe him? This nightmare looked so fucking real and scary that his teeth clattered. The same nightmare but this time around it was different, she was going to kill him!

Oliver sighed and ruffled his hair with his hands frustratingly,he strolled lazily to the bathroom and took off his pajamas to have a warm bath.

He mopped the droplets of water from his flawless skin with his white towel and walked into the room to his sister spraying his perfume.

"Drop that Laurel"

"You couldn't even wait for me to greet you."

"Don't divert my attention,just drop that and leave!"

"I love you too bro" she replied sarcastically at him and sprayed the perfume all over her hair.

"You've got ten different perspirants ànd perfumes laying scattered in your room but you choose to flux around my Ralph Lauren Perfume"

"That's because I want to smell like my brother"

"Or you want your cranky boss of yours to notice you" he said and Laurel frowned with a babyish face.

"Can you stop rubbing it on my face,I just want him to see my pretty face not my flat ass and boobs,oh gosh...I love that guy" she sarcastically cried and sat on the bed.

"You're so pathetic Laurel,each time you admit that you're doing all of this for him,I wished you were a boy so I would beat the crap out of you."

"Ouch that's harsh Oliver!"

"I'm so disappointed in you for disappointing the Stone's family. You're a Stone girl! not a piece of crumpled paper,now get the hell up let me get dressed before i get to work late."

"What's stopping you,what are you hiding that I haven't seen before"

"What?!!" Oliver looked at his kid sister and opened his mouth mortified.

She folded her hands and looked at him straight in the eye like some nagging wife.

"OMG!!! Look at his face, you slept naked last night you know I just had to come over to cover you up,it was really huge like...."

"What the fúçk Laurel,stop saying gibberish things!"

"But it's true,I had to tell mum to warn you to stop sleeping like that."

"Laurel!!,get out now!" He threw the pillow at her and she ran out laughing.

He truly did have a naughty sister.

 He went outside towards the garage and smiled inwardly as he sighted his favourite black Rolls Royce all shiny in its beauty.

 His baby was truly a beauty.

"Give me the car keys Cole"

"But boss...."

"It's okay,you can come over later. I want to drive alone."

"It's dangerous to go out there alone without anybody"

"Who said I'm going out without anybody? I'm going with my baby and you and the other guys can come later "

Cole sighed in frustration as he handed over the keys to his boss,arguing with him was meaningless and he's doing all of this because his father isn't around.

His father would assign more than 30 men to keep watch over him and 10 men to follow him around. Oliver hated it but that was the life his father pushed him to have,he claimed that Oliver's life would always be in danger as long as she runs the fashion house because of some bittered enemies.

Ever since his dad traveled out of the country for some business contract,the cage in Oliver's life was broken as he did as he wanted,not that he was reckless but he never took the security protocols so seriously.

He grabbed the key from my hands and unlocked the car with a funny beeping sound before entering inside. He started the engine and the car roared smoothly to life before driving off the driveway with speed.

"You haven't had your breakfast Sanctify, come back here!!!"Aunt Debbie yelled at her niece who ran out of the house like a mad woman.

She was lucky enough to get a call for an interview and she wants to ruin everything with her craziness.

Who the hell dresses like that for an interview. A bright yellow scarf on the head with an orange T-shirt, a long flowing gown with a white canvas beneath her tiny legs.

"I'm late Aunty, wish me luck!!"Sanctify yelled back, hugging her Barbie fluffy bag under her armpit and running to look for a cab.

"Oh dear Sanctify,even God doesn't know what to wish you" Aunt Debbie pitifully said and shook her head. 

She knew Sanctify will come back home with a frown on her face, she will eat and cry at the same time, she will lay curses on all the managers of the company and call them ugly,this interview won't be an exception so she took her food and kept it on the table where she would see it and celebrate her loss with tears.

Sanctify carelessly walked briskly along the road not minding the wet puddle of water,she was busy stretching her hands to flag down a cab that she didn't notice the fast running car before her.

She cried out in frustration when the ropes of her canvas loosen, bending down to tie them,the car gave a mighty splash of puddle water on her face, clothes and canvas.

She screamed in terror that the whole passers-by ran for fear of what's going to happen.

The car screeched to a halt and the owner stepped down and walked up to her,he overheard the screams and he deemed it fit to apologize.

"You ugly chimpanzee, how dare you? See what you have done to my fine interview clothes" she cried and removed her stained canvas to hit him on the head.

"What the hell!! Why will you hit me with that,are you possessed or something?"

"Go and ask satan in hell moron, you're so lucky I've got an Important interview. If not I would have beaten your ass right now" she cried and removed her canvas and threw it at him and started running barefooted.

She reached the classiest fashion house in Los Angeles, California and entered the grand building.

"You're here for what?!!!" The tall chubby lady standing by the front desk and who also happens to be the interviewer asked Sanctify in shock and she happily told her.

"Congratulations ma'am,but you're fired in advance. Kindly get your mad self out of here before I call the securities" The lady known as Aunt Berby said and Sanctify banged the table before her.

"Congratulations to you also ma, you were already mad before detecting the madness in me, your eyes, nose, mouth and brown legs are equally mad,your company is mad and we are all crazy"Sanctify cried as she left her dream company tearily.

She sighted the guy who had splashed water on her walking majestically inside and she cried out the more.

"Even if this one is mad for soiling my clothes,I will teach him a lesson!!" She removed her yellow scarf and twisted it to be very strong and walked up to him. She wiped the scarf on the guy who was lost in the call that he shouted and ran from the sudden insanity displayed.

Securities came over and she ran out for her dear Life.

"Oh my!! What was she doing here?"he asked his manager, Aunty Berby who Laughed out at the manner in which he ran and shouted.

"Aren't you ashamed Oliver,she made you run and hit you with that"

"Oh please Aunty,it was unawares"

"She was here for the interview a few minutes ago,I literally sent her away for missing her way,can you imagine? She said and the next thing that came out of his mouth shocked everyone unexpectedly.

"Get me her details and hire her, she's to resume work tomorrow."
