Falling For The Alpha’s Game

Hunter’s POV

“I can’t stay here anymore, I have to leave, I can’t keep seeing her every day.” I watched her from my window, she still looked very beautiful.

“I hate her.” My wolf growled, he was pushing to come out but I suppressed it.

I walked out of my home, I could feel my body beating up, My wolf is trying his best to come out, I can’t stop him, my body started molding, my bones started to crack, my skin was replaced by fur and my hands and feet turned into paws.

“We need to teach her a lesson, She shouldn’t get away. She makes me angry.” My wolf said, he was still trying to get out but I kept stopping him.

I can’t do that, I don’t have it in me.

“We can’t,” I said back to him.

“We have to? We can’t let her get away from it.” My wolf said that he wasn’t happy about it just as much as I am not.

“I want to leave, I can’t stay here anymore, she destroyed it for us, I can’t let any of us make a decision that would destroy our lives,” I said and my wolf went silent.

He knew I was too hurt and hurting her won’t make me happy, it won’t make us any happy rather it will destroy me more, Everything reminds me of her and I knew staying here would be a bad decision, I need to get away from her, she ruined everything for me.

I calmed my wolf down and I turned back into my human shape, I got back into the house and got dressed, I have to leave.

“Why are you packing your things, Alpha Hunter? The battle started long ago, we need you.” I heard a voice from behind, it was Blake a new member of my pack, a few years ago I got assigned as the Alpha of the pack, I was so happy but I don’t want this anymore, if she is not with me then I don’t want anything.

“I’m leaving and never coming back, don’t question my activities, Blake,” I growled, my wolf is getting hurt by getting reminded of everything.

“You can’t do that because of some stupid girl,” Black said that triggered something in me, he has no idea what I felt, how could he say that?

My wolf growled.

“No,” I said to my wolf.

I heard my wolf growl again.

“Just shut up Blake,” I said through my teeth, I was trying to calm down.

“You can’t do this Alpha Hunter, we need you. You can’t leave us when we are in the middle of the war.” He said.

He is right, we are in the middle of a war.

“We have to win this war before we leave.” My wolf said. He is right, I can leave after I won’t be able to forgive myself if I leave during the war.

“Don’t speak this to anyone, I will stay till the war ends, and mind you I will know if you say this to anyone,” I told to Blake, it seemed like I’m threatening him but I care less.

“You have my word, Alpha Hunter.” He said, I know I can trust Blake after all he owes me, I saved his life, I stopped those wolves from killing him and took him in making him a part of my pack.

“They attacked Ryder, we have to get there,” Blake informed me. I growled.

“Let’s go, I’m tired of this shit.” Blake changed into his form and I did the same, we got into the forest, and I could hear the sounds of heavy paws.

“Everyone is there.” My wolf asked.

“Yes, Alpha Hunter,” Blake said.

I transferred all my anger to every wolf, jumping on them and biting them hard on the neck, my fur was covered in the blood of different wolfs. A dark brown wolf came near me, it was Twan he was part of my pack.

“Good to see you, Alpha Hunter.” He growled.

Just like everyone else he is surprised I didn’t arrive early when the battle started, he must have also thought I won’t come.

I looked back at Twan nodding at him.

“Bitch.” He muttered under his breath, but Wolf has super hearing so I heard him.

“What did you say?.” My wolf growled.

“Focus on the battle Alpha.” Twain’s wolf said, Twan and I have not been good friends, we were good friends when he joined my pack but all that changes when I was elected as Alpha.

I ignored him, I was too broken to fight with him.

“I will go get Ryder.” My wolf said, I got further into the forest, there were wolfs all around and blood, I noticed brown fur behind a plank of wood and I saw blood, it was Ryder.

I ran toward him pushing every wolf in sight until I got to Ryder, I carried him on my back and took it back to the house, that’s a coward move, I should have stayed with my pack but I can’t I’m too broken, I lost that will a long time ago.

I dropped Ryder on the couch, I was leaving when I saw her walk out, how can she be so happy after everything, she doesn’t care.

“Let’s kill her.” My wolf said, I felt a hot pain in my chest, he is getting out and I can’t control him, it was too late, my body transformed into a large black wolf, my eyes were black blinded with rage and anger.

I ran toward her and the last thing I heard was a scream and it wasn’t hers.

A few months later….

I stood on a large stone, I got the perfect view of the whole forest. My life has changed a lot since I left and I’m happy I did...

“Alpha Hunter.” The name reminds me of a lot of things.

I left my pack and I hope that won’t haunt me forever.
