Ugh, tell me about it. I'll buy a whole series during a sale and then they're just scattered all over my Kindle like confetti. The 'Collections' feature is your best friend here. Seriously, go to your library view, hit the '+' to create a new collection, and name it something obvious. Then you can add books to it. It's manual labor, but it's the only way to get a clean, grouped view. Sometimes if you download a sample of the next book, it'll show a 'Series Next Up' prompt, but that's after you're already in the book. For pre-organizing, Collections are the only consistent solution.

You know, this used to drive me absolutely crazy, and I still see new Kindle owners ask about it. The big secret is your Kindle or the Kindle app doesn't magically know what's part of a series unless the publisher or Amazon has properly tagged it. It usually groups them on the store page under "Series," but your personal library can be a mess. I've found the best way is to manually create a Collection. Just name it after the series and dump all the books in there. Takes two minutes and saves so much frustration later when you can't remember if you're on book three or four.
