I get why everyone loves Audible, but I actually found a lot of Maas's stuff on Google Play Books too, and it's often a bit cheaper per title if you don't want a subscription. The playback interface is clunky compared to Audible's app, though. I listen while I'm commuting, and the chapter skipping on Google's app drives me nuts.

Also, don't sleep on libraries that use Hoopla. Mine does, and there are never any holds. You just borrow instantly. The selection isn't as deep as Libby's, but I've found 'Crescent City' available right away when Audible was asking for a credit. It's a good backup plan.

I'm not as picky about narrators as some folks, so maybe that's why I'm more willing to hop around. As long as I can hear the story, I'm mostly happy.

Honestly, Audible is the go-to. The production quality is consistent, and having all the series in one app is convenient. I tried borrowing from the library, but the wait times for popular fantasy authors are a killer. If you're a dedicated fan, the subscription model pays for itself pretty quickly, especially with those longer books.

you know? The 'Throne of Glass' series especially, with all those battles and court intrigues. My main spot is Audible; they've got the whole catalog narrated perfectly. The voices for characters like Rhysand and Feyre are spot-on. I tried Scribd for a bit, but their selection felt more random, and sometimes titles would just vanish from my list. Honestly, sticking with Audible's membership has been the most reliable. I burned through 'A Court of Silver Flames' in like two days flat.

Sometimes I'll check Libby through my local library too, but the waitlists for the popular ones are insane. You have to be really patient, or just get lucky. I remember waiting three months for 'House of Earth and Blood' only to have the loan expire before I finished it. That was a tragedy.

A little trick—sometimes the UK version of Audible has a different narrator, so I'll use a free trial there if I prefer that performance. It's a whole thing. But yeah, for consistent, high-quality access, Audible wins every time.

What are the most popular sarah m eden books to start reading?

Starting with Sarah J. Maas is a big commitment, so I always tell people to go with 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' as their first. It's got that perfect blend of fairy tale retelling, romance, and action that eases you into her world. The following books, especially 'A Court of Mist and Fury,' really open up the universe and characters in a way that hooks you for good. Some fans argue for 'Throne of Glass' first because it's her original series, but honestly, the early books in that series show her finding her voice. ACOTAR is just a tighter, more polished entry point. If you love that, you'll have the patience for Celaena's longer journey.

How many sarah m eden books are part of a series?

Wow, trying to count up Sarah Eden's series feels like organizing a bookshelf that's perpetually growing! She's incredibly prolific in the regency romance and historical fiction space. If we're talking books that are definitively part of a connected multi-book series, I'd put the number around... maybe thirty? Possibly a bit more now. Her big ones are the 'Lancaster Family' series and the 'Gents' series, which both have several installments each. Then there are linked books like the 'Worth the Risk' trilogy and earlier series like 'Friends and Foes'. Some of her standalones have loose connections or shared settings too, which blurs the line a little. Honestly, my Kindle library is a testament to her series output; I think I own more books of hers that are part of something than not.
