I tried the chronological order once. It was a bizarre experience. You start with a childhood flashback that has zero emotional weight because you don't know the characters. Then you jump to a corporate thriller subplot about a side character. The central marriage contract doesn't happen until 'chapter' 50 of this spliced order. It utterly destroys the narrative drive. The author is a soap opera genius, not a historian. Trust their original, messy release schedule. It's paced for maximum addiction.

What family? What marriage? Did I stumble into the wrong forum thread again? This sounds complicated. I'll just watch the memes.

Can't we just enjoy a story without needing a PhD in its reading order? The obsession with 'correct' sequence kills the fun. I read the main novel straight through and understood everything perfectly. All these prequels and side stories feel like afterthoughts the author monetized later. Start with chapter one of 'Marrying Into Her Family'. If you get confused later (you won't), maybe glance at a wiki. Making it more complicated than that is just fandom overcomplication.

Why's everyone making this so complicated? The official app has them all in order now. Just go to the 'Marrying Into Her Family' universe page on Radish, and it lists 'Series Order' right there. It's not perfect—it lists the side stories after the main novel, when they fit in the middle—but it's good enough. The app even has little timeline markers. Sometimes I think fans enjoy the meta-game of arranging stories more than actually reading them.

My two cents: don't worry about a 'full' order on your first read. Just commit to the main, massive novel. If you love it, you'll want to seek out the extra content, and finding it will be a joy. If you don't love it, you've saved yourself a hundred hours of side stories. Using completionism as your entry point turns pleasure into homework. This is a romance about defying expectations, not checking boxes.

Although some people might consider her lucky to be married to a young billionaire who owns an international venture company, Ariana doesn't feel that way.
So, will her marriage go according to plan because people are pressuring her? Or would the results be different?"

Her husband, the heir to a mafia organization mysteriously dies. To keep the peace between both families, she is forced to marry his ruthless brother.
He is cold, calculating, and has enemies who would kill her just for his last name, and she…..well she simply just wants to save herself from the brink of ruin.
He says he’ll never touch her, she says she doesn’t want him. They both think the other is hiding something and they’re both right.
Love, lust, power, angst. Two opposites, forced together by unfortunate circumstances. Will they prevail? Or will fate further drift them apart?
He needed a bride.
I was never meant to be the one walking down the aisle.
When the Marazona family came to claim a debt, my stepmother offered her precious daughter to the ruthless and dying Vincenzo Marazona.
But on the wedding day, she sent me instead.
Broken. Replaceable. Unwanted.
Vincenzo Marazona made one thing clear the moment his ring touched my finger—
this marriage was a business transaction, not a love story.
He was cold, cruel, and running out of time.
I was only a substitute bride trapped in the empire of a man who did not believe in mercy… or love.
But the longer I lived under his roof, the more dangerous he became.
Because the dying king who never wanted a wife was beginning to look at me like I was the only thing he had left to lose.
And in the Marazona family—
love is the deadliest mistake of all.
Reborn from a desolate post-apocalyptic world into the marginalized middle daughter of Solstice City’s powerful Laurent family, Helene wishes for only one thing: peace.
But that simple wish is threatened when her younger sister refuses to marry her now-disabled fiancé—the very engagement she once stole from Helene—and Helene is pressured to take her place.
Determined to sever ties with the family she'd never quite fitted into, Helene agrees to the marriage.
On one condition.
The day she marries into the Blackthorne family is the day she ceases to be part of the Laurent family.

To Lucien Blackthorne, marriage is nothing more than a transaction.
It doesn’t matter who stands beside him at the altar.
Until he meets her.
A woman who looks at him without pity.
Who accepts him without hesitation.
Who walks into his life with quiet defiance, and begins dismantling the walls he built around himself.
What begins as a calculated exchange soon spirals into something neither of them anticipated.
And when emotions become the most dangerous variable of all…
Who will be the first to fall?
After Iris Miller ditches me at the altar for the seventh time just to be with her childhood sweetheart, Aaron Trent, the Millers personally show up on my doorstep so that they can apologize to me properly.
"We'll add on another 11 pounds of gold, three buildings in the south-western district, and nine stores located in prime locations of the city center on top of the current list of wedding gifts in order to make it up to you."
Before Daniel Miller is done speaking, Iris, who's listening to the conversation from her phone, lets out a light scoff.
"As if Jasper deserves all these gifts. Believe me when I say I'll have him eating out of the palm of my hand with just a pebble I randomly pick up on the street. Grandpa, I might as well invest these wedding gifts in Aaron's art gallery."
Daniel quickly ends the call before looking at me in embarrassment.
Soft mocking laughter rings out around me. Everyone is waiting for me to quietly endure all the humiliation, just like before.
But I've already received such compensation six times in the past. I'm no longer interested in them. Heck, I'm no longer interested in Iris as well.
After thinking for a moment, I glance at the crowd with a raised brow, where I find myself staring at Taylor Miller, Iris' most hated half-sister due to her illegitimate lineage.
"Mr. Miller Senior, you mentioned that whoever I marry will become the future heiress of the Miller family. This promise still stands, right?"
It's fine if Iris refuses to marry me. Plenty of women are dying to marry me anyway.

The series follows one continuous couple, so yeah, order matters a lot. It's not like some romance series where each book is about a different sibling. This is one long, turbulent relationship from a marriage of convenience to a love worth fighting for. You gotta take the journey with them step by step.
Having read both the official and fan translations at different times, the chapter numbering can be off by one or two depending on how they counted the prologue. But the story beat order is identical. The official translation is cleaner and has better lettering, which helps with the flow. I'd recommend that version solely for consistency. They also sometimes group two web episodes into one 'chapter' for the official release, so the total count might seem lower, but it's the same content. Don't mix sources mid-read; pick one and stick with it to avoid accidental repetition or gaps.
I read the prequel by accident first. It was fine, but it made the main novel feel like a foregone conclusion instead of a discovery. The tension was gone because I already knew the secrets. It was like reading a mystery novel after someone told you whodunit. I wish I could erase my memory and read it in the proper order. Learn from my mistake!
I approach these hunts like a detective. First, confirm the exact title and author. Variations matter. Then, search that exact phrase in quotes on Twitter (X). Readers often complain about or celebrate finding stories there, and they'll tag the platform.
Next, search on Reddit in relevant subreddits like r/WebNovels or r/RomanceBooks. Use the search bar. Often, someone has already asked this exact question, and the answers are there in an old thread.
My ebook store had the second book listed as 'Book 1' in a sub-series for a while due to a glitch. I bought it, started reading, and was utterly lost.
Always double-check on multiple sites or the author's page. Retailer metadata is not always correct. A quick search for '[Series Name] reading order' will yield a blog post or forum thread with the right info.
The fandom wiki has a 'Reading Order' page that's constantly being edited and debated. It currently lists three paths: 'Plot Chronological', 'Release Order', and 'Emotional Impact Order'. The 'Emotional Impact' one is interesting—it mixes the main plot with the side stories at specific cliffhangers to maximize angst. It's a curated, almost cinematic experience. But it requires a lot of chapter jumping. For a first read, I'd just take the wiki's 'Release Order' suggestion. It's the path of least resistance and how most original readers experienced it.
