I think you’ll find the page count varies by edition but mine is 670 or so pages. That’s a lot of world building and lots of magic. It’s rather like many online serials which can go on for pages and pages developing their own magic systems in great detail, as for example the web novel ‘Dragon’s Breath (Book One)’ does. These long serials can be just as deep and as long as a traditional novel and are great for getting lost in for hours.

So, I’m a huge fan of Sanderson and this is one of my favorite books. It comes in a few different editions (mine being a hardcover, and then a couple of different paperback versions). The page count varies depending on the edition – 541 pages for the hardcover, and 647 for the paperbacks, because of the larger print. The book is a great read for people who love immersive fantasy. The magic system is really unique, and there are a lot of great characters in the book. Yes, it’s long, but it reads fast because it’s so engaging. I’ve read it three times, and each time I find even more to appreciate in the book.

When I first picked up ‘Mistborn: The Final Empire’ by Brandon Sanderson, I was shocked at how long it was! The paperback edition of ‘Mistborn: The Final Empire’ is 647 pages long, but I’ve heard the hardcover is a much more manageable 541 pages long. Whatever the page count, though, I can assure you that the long read is well worth it – the book is incredibly engaging and the world in which it’s set has been meticulously created by Sanderson. If you’re new to the genre of epic fantasy, ‘Mistborn: The Final Empire’ is a great starting point and the page count, although it looks intimidating at first, never really feels like it’s being Labored over.

I am a long time reader of fantasy, and Brandon Sanderson is one of my favorite authors. I was excited to dive into his work, starting with ‘Mistborn: The Final Empire’. The page count of this book can vary depending on the edition that you buy. For example the US hardcover edition has 541 pages, and the paperback version has approximately 647 pages due to differences in formatting and font size. Other countries may have slightly different page counts, but generally this book is extremely long and in depth with a lot of great world building and a very unique and fun heist like story.
Page count for ebook versions of ‘Mistborn: The Final Empire’ will vary depending on how you’ve set up your ebook reader but generally it will read similar to the paperback edition at around 647 pages. A really great read for fans of epic fantasy, particularly fans of really detailed magic systems and good characters. It’s a very deep and detailed story, making every page worth it whether read as a paperback or on an e-reader.

The first Mistborn novel varies in length. My hardcover edition runs 541 pages, while the paperback edition runs 647 pages. Sanderson’s dense but engaging writing fills every page of this engaging novel full of twists and turns, making for a very long but rewarding read. Sanderson’s work is available in both hardcover and paperback editions.
