This does have some spicy moments but for me they are a small part of a lovely cozy small-town-romance with a few monster type figures in it. If you are after lots of short very steamy reads then ‘Midnight Pleasure: 30 Shades Of Short Steamy Stories’ might be more up your street. This is a collection of very short (around a page or so) stories – each one set in a different fantasy world and featuring a single standalone romantic encounter. Quick reads.

'Morning Glory Milking Farm' is a wonderful read for those who like a bit of steam in their romance. All of the spicy scenes are included in the story. They are written in a natural, growing intimate relationship between the characters. The scenarios are described in detail without being overly graphic. The story is hot and sweet at the same time. The farm is a unique setting for the scenarios in the story. Instead of being repetitive, each encounter is different and inventive. The author has done a wonderful job of making the spicier moments in the story enhance the emotional content of the book.

There were some good steamy moments in ‘Morning Glory Milking Farm’! Often the tension was fun and playful before giving in to very hot sex. The relationship between the characters was well developed before things got hot. It was a good balance between the romance and sex. There was enough detail to keep things interesting but not so much that it dominated the rest of the story and became gratuitous.
What I like most about the spicy bits in this book is that they actually serve a purpose for the characters and their relationship. Yes, this book has spice. The author brought fun and flirty to the scenes of intimacy. The intimacy scenes are increased as the book progresses. There is no denying the chemistry between the two main characters. Author brings their physical connection to life in a way that is not too explicit but not too tame either. The author’s playful writing brings a lighthearted feel to the intimate scenes and thus they are never too heavy or too melodramatic. The romantic scenes are all very warm and spicy and are paced so that by the time things do escalate, it feels totally right. The author has a great ‘playful’ style for the hot bits, and avoids being too crass or gratuitous, but still manages to deliver all the satisfying bits that you want from a love story. Yeah, it’s primarily a romance, but if you’re reading for the chemistry between the leads, you’ll get loads of that too. A connection focused story which just happens to be full of passion. A very comforting read that is refreshingly different from most other books.

Their chemistry drives the story, therefore all of the romantic moments are logical to the plot. I’d rate this book about an 8 out of 10 on the sensual level. The author describes EVERY intimate moment in great detail and with much passion. If you are looking for lots of romantic interludes between action and politics then this is your book. I actually think these chapters are where the author worked out their darkest thoughts, and then this story is a way to play them out. They read to me like something you’d read in a therapist’s office, and then that writer would be like, “Well, that was cathartic.” They have a raw energy to them. It doesn’t feel to me like the author is trying to be edgy for some market. Instead, I think they’re working through a very bad idea. The fact that it’s being worked through, and it’s being presented to us in this way, is somehow honed in on in such a way that it’s actually worth reading, even if you don’t like it. What’s really compelling is the author’s exploration of their own edge.

The sexy chapters were so brief. I spent so long waiting for them to arrive and they were there and then gone in a matter of pages. It was all so much foreplay and after-play. The acts themselves were summarized very quickly with a lot of emphasis placed on the emotional whirlwind that was happening rather than the physical act itself. The style was surprising and left a lot to the reader’s imagination.
If you’re someone who likes to fill in the blanks for yourself, you might enjoy these chapters. Others prefer a lot more detail in the spiciest of scenes, and will likely find these legendary chapters underwhelming if they fall into the latter category.
