Canon is a slippery concept in a long-running series with multiple types of content. The novels are undisputed canon. The free online reads? They're like bonus features on a DVD—fun, sometimes insightful, but not part of the main movie. If a detail from a free read is ever needed for the main plot, it will be reintroduced in a novel.
So I wouldn't stress about memorizing them. Enjoy them as little treats, but don't feel obligated to track them all down for a coherent understanding of the Psy-Changeling timeline. The books are designed to stand alone.

Think about other big paranormal romance series. The Black Dagger Brotherhood has insider guides, the Fever series has bonus chapters—they all occupy this space. They're treated as canon by the fandom because the author says they are.

The sheer volume of free content is impressive. It shows an author who genuinely loves her world and her fans. That goodwill makes me inclined to accept everything she offers as part of the legitimate world, even the silly little quirks. She's built up that trust over two decades of storytelling.

The publisher's website and Singh's own site list them as part of the series' reading order sometimes. That's a pretty strong indicator they're considered canonical supplementary material. Check her website's series guide.

Honestly, I've never considered them not canon. Nalini wrote them. They're on her official channels. They feature the characters acting in character. The burden of proof feels like it should be on proving they aren't canon, not the other way around.

The stories that are in this series are -

The Moon Goddess may have written the rules, but these she-wolves are tearing them apart.
In this sweeping five-book saga, the Lycanthrope species—creatures of power beyond mortal imagination—dare to defy destiny itself. Mate bonds ignite passion and peril, but every she-wolf knows love can be a weapon as much as a gift. Tradition demands obedience. They choose rebellion.
It begins with Ana, a Hybrid caught between worlds, whose collision with Romani, the ruthless Lycan Crown Prince, sparks a bond that could either save her—or destroy her. His dominance threatens to consume her, yet Ana refuses to bow. Every choice she makes twists the Goddess’s plan tighter, until fate itself trembles.
From Ana’s defiance to the cunning of wolves who wield mate bonds like blades, each book unveils a battle where freedom clashes with love, rebellion with tradition, and power with vulnerability. The Goddess watches. The wolves fight back. And destiny will bleed before it breaks.
This is not a tale of wolves who obey.
This is the saga of wolves who refuse to surrender…

They were never supposed to belong to one man.
Caught between ruthless Alphas, powerful shifters, dangerous princes, and possessive supernatural rulers, these women find themselves at the center of ancient prophecies, impossible mate bonds, and deadly power struggles. Some are purchased at auctions. Some are offered as sacrifices. Some stumble into worlds they never knew existed. All discover that fate has chosen them for more than they ever imagined.
As rival packs threaten war, kingdoms fight for control, and enemies close in from every side, these women must decide whether to run from the powerful men claiming them or embrace the bonds that tie them together. In worlds where one mate can belong to multiple Alphas, love is complicated, loyalty is tested, and survival often depends on trusting the very men who refuse to let them go.
Filled with fated mates, possessive heroes, supernatural intrigue, dangerous secrets, and strong heroines who rise from captivity to power, this collection delivers unforgettable reverse harem romances where destiny has room for more than one soulmate.
Perfect for readers who love paranormal romance, shifter Alphas, powerful brothers, shared mates, and happily-ever-afters.
CURSED TO BE YOURS- I Swapped Bodies With The Alpha King

On the night of my wedding, my fated mate cut my heart out of my chest for his lover. I should have stayed dead.
Instead, the cold, crazy goddess stitched me back together and gave me a choice: I have to tempt the Alpha King during his trial, Make him fall, Or die for real this time.
So I did the unthinkable. I touched him. I pushed him. I teased him. I made the most dangerous man in the world want me and when he finally kissed me- some curse struck and I swapped bodies with him.
Now I’m stuck in the Alpha King’s body for the rest of the trial, trying to hold his kingdom together while he’s trapped in mine. And when we finally switch back, the scandal is worse than either of us imagined.
He wants me dead so he can stop the chaos I have caused. I want to live so I can exact my revenge. The curse isn’t done with us either, because we keep switching at the worst possible times, forcing us to feel everything the other feels.
The heat. The hunger. The fury. The maddening desire.
We can’t stop switching. We can’t stop touching each other, and I can’t tell if we’re going to kill each other first… or burn the kingdom down in his bed.
He might be my curse, I might be his downfall. But the goddess didn’t give me a second chance just to die for him.
Confession: I stumbled upon her free reads long before I picked up a main series book. The connection can be a double-edged sword. For someone completely new, a short like 'Angels' Pawn' acts as a perfect, low-commitment teaser for the Guild Hunter world, introducing you to the tone and some key players. But if you're a series veteran, the joy is in recognizing the cameos and understanding the subtle references to past events. They're like little Easter eggs for dedicated fans. The free reads definitely assume you have at least some familiarity with the worldbuilding; a total newcomer might feel a bit lost in the middle of an established friend group's dynamic.
Why make it complicated? Just read them in the order they were written and released. That's how the vast majority of fans experienced them, and it worked perfectly. Singh introduces concepts and characters at a specific pace for maximum impact. Reading in any other order, like trying to group all the changeling-heavy books together, will disrupt that narrative flow. Check the copyright page in any of the books or the series page on the author's official site—it lists them all in sequence. Stick to that list like glue.
Library. Library. Library. I can't stress this enough. If you're in the US, Canada, UK, or Australia, your local library's digital collection is almost guaranteed to have her books. It's free, it's easy, and it supports a vital institution.
Stop looking for 'online reads' on random sites and download the Libby app. Type in your library card, and you're in. You can read it in your browser or send it to your Kindle. It's the most seamless, legal, and complete free access you'll get.
Hunting for promo freebies is fun, but for the full series experience, this is the unbeatable method.
I appreciate that they're truly free. No signing in, no data mining, no follow-for-follow. Just a PDF or a webpage. In an era where everything is a lead magnet, that old-school generosity stands out. It builds a huge amount of trust and goodwill. It makes me want to support her more, not less.
The fan wiki is your best friend for this. They usually have a 'Chronological Order' page that lists every single story, including the newsletter freebies and anthology exclusives, in the exact timeline of events. It's meticulous. They'll note things like 'this occurs three months after the end of Book X.' It's the only way to get a truly pure timeline read. Be prepared to do some digital hunting or anthology borrowing for the complete set, though. Some of those short stories are hard to find.
The order matters less for the romance beats and more for the sci-fi thriller arc. The mystery of the PsyNet's degradation, the sinister activities of the Consortium, the evolution of the Human Alliance—these are serialized plots. The romance is the vehicle, but the plot is the road, and it's a one-way street.
