A whole 'cheat code' based off the friendship system with Neet Chan. If you max out the affinity with her, she'll start giving you daily gifts. These can contain rare crafting materials, and on occasion even some premium currency which you’d normally have to buy with real money. It takes ages, and quite a bit of correct dialogue choices too. But when you do get there, it completely breaks the in-game economy. In a way, it’s a ‘code’ to get loads of stuff for being really nice to a fictional character. I think it’s really funny and quite sweet too. It rewards emotional investment over quick presses of buttons.

So I've been playing 'Business of Loving' for a while now, and honestly, the whole cheat code thing is a bit of a mystery. The game doesn’t advertise any official cheats, but that hasn’t stopped players from digging around. Some forums claim there are hidden combos or debug menus, but most of them lead to dead ends or minor glitches. It’s one of those games that feels like it’s designed to be played straight—no shortcuts, just strategy and patience.
That said, I’ve seen a few mods floating around for the PC version that tweak in-game values like money or relationship stats. They’re not officially supported, though, and I’d be cautious about using them. The charm of 'Business of Loving' is in its storytelling and choices, so cheating might just ruin the fun. Plus, the devs seem pretty active in patching exploits, so anything you find might not last long.

Lurking. Just taking notes over here. Some of these suggestions are for games I've never even heard of. I'll have to look into them though. Thanks for the suggestions.

Oh and one other secret for our RPG novices: “Tavern Brawler” background. No, this is not listed in Character Creation. You lose five arm-wrestling rows in the opening inn, then beat the Champions of the bar for this to be granted to your new hero. Once you have “Bruiser” the hero of yours will have various advantages in unarmed combat, and indeed be able to Intimidate a lot of people easier too. Also there are several new lines of dialog enabling you to ‘beat it up’ (solve a problem with your fists) rather than ‘talk it out’ or ‘steal it’. Often funny in solutions to otherwise locked problems.

One thing to be aware of is the potential for ‘soft-locking’ – a scenario where, even after a condition has been met to unlock something, saving and then loading the game before the unlock has actually taken place leaves the player ‘stuck’. I’ve read accounts of corrupted save games and trigger bugs that prevent an unlock from occurring even when a player has been doing everything just right. The risk is smallest for players of modern games, with patched console versions the lowest risk of all – but for those playing older games on their original hardware, it’s something to be aware of before committing to an unlock-grind of dozens of hours or more. Make a backup of your save file from time to time, perhaps. Better to be safe than stuck.

A rather confused paperback purist, here. I thought I'd give digital a try. So I have to pay a monthly subscription fee to read chapters, and I don't even get to own what I'm reading. Occasionally, the latest chapters are an extra charge on top of the subscription fee to read them. Is that really how this works? I'm having a bit of trouble getting my head around this. The books on my bookshelf don't ask for a subscription fee to read a book I've bought in paperback. It's clearly a very complicated library with lots of fine print.

The crossovers had the best guest villains of the season. The villains had to be big enough for both teams, so they were all kinds of ridiculous. There was the guy with the melody-mind-control app, and the guy with the giant robot. They raised the stakes in those episodes, even if they were solved in fairly silly ways. I think there were 3 crossover episodes total. They hit all the marks for a great kids’ crossover: simple plot, fun character interactions, and a big, dumb, visual-effects-heavy finale. The crossovers weren’t trying to be deep or anything, they just wanted to be a fun party. And they succeeded on that level.

As a long-time user of Webtoon, I know that free coin promos do exist. They’re usually one-time-use codes given out during big releases or special holidays like Halloween or Christmas. Occasionally a creator will give out coins for a creator-hosted fan engagement event such as a Q&A or a fan art contest.
Following the official Webtoon page and your favorite creators can help you find out when they decide to give out free coins for their fans. And even though we’re talking about a handful of coins here and there, it can really add up when you’re in the middle of reading a new webcomic series.

This Week 6 Hard mode is for unlocking Girlfriend. I approached this level as a puzzle of different rhythm quirks for each song. Stress, for me, was one of the hardest songs because of the alternating double arrows. Going back and forth in Practice mode for certain sections until I got them was key to mastering them. I even found a few of these sections through the community and they include focusing on the shadows of the arrows instead of the notes themselves.
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of grinding, waiting and itching to unlock Girlfriend (and her commentary between songs) – and believe me, her unlocking is one of the greatest feeling of all-time as it feels like you’ve grown as a player too.
