Honestly, just read it in the order posted. The author wrote it that way for a reason. I see so many threads overcomplicating this with flowcharts—it's a web novel, not the 'Citizen Kane' of literature.

The only hiccup is that some aggregator sites have the chapters for 'Rebirth For You' and its spinoff 'Song of the Phoenix' all jumbled together because they share a character. If you suddenly hit a chapter where the protagonist's name is different and she's in a completely different empire, you've jumped into the spinoff. Go back.

I read it straight through, no fancy order, and everything made sense. The flashbacks are clearly marked, and the narrative voice is consistent. Sometimes the fan community creates more confusion than clarity.

The official sequence is the 300+ main chapters. After that, there are three bonus arcs: 'Winter Solstice', 'Eternal Vow', and the epilogue 'New Dawn'. Read those in that order. 'Eternal Vow' directly sets up the ending in 'New Dawn'.

Avoid the so-called 'chapter 78b' or 'alternate chapter 102' you might find on some forums. Those are fan-written continuations from before the novel was fully translated and they conflict with the later canonical material. They're interesting curiosities but will mess up your understanding of the plot.

I found the complete, correct order pinned on the novel's Subreddit wiki last year, which saved me a huge headache.

Spent way too long figuring this out because my usual reading app kept mixing up the chapters. The main novel is pretty straightforward—start from chapter 1, 'Rebirth' and just go in order. The trouble starts with the extra content.

There's a prequel side story called 'Before the Dust Settles' that a lot of people recommend reading after you finish the main story, maybe around chapter 150? Reading it earlier spoils a major twist about the male lead's past motivations. I made that mistake and kinda regret it, took the punch out of a later reveal.

Also, watch out for the author's short holiday specials. They're cute but totally non-canonical, set in a modern AU. They're fun if you just want more of the characters' dynamics, but they don't fit into the main timeline at all. My advice is to stick to the numbered chapters, then circle back for the extras once you're done.
