Fair exchange of getting to read more content and the creator/releaser getting a few cents added up, to a salary. Not a huge faceless corporation making the buck off of artists, but rather an individual or team of people. Totally different perspective on it all.

This is very similar to my earlier mention of Gaisee and, in fact, I had also been ‘tubing’ a whole bunch of free Asian dramas – including some wonderful BL titles. The app offers totally free movies and TV series with limited titles. However, I thought it was worth a mention since the content was great and I loved discovering some of the lesser known titles through this app. You can’t go wrong since it’s free to download and watch, after all. While it’s true that there are ad breaks in between the drama, that’s the perfect time for grabbing more snacks as you continue to binge-watch. Yeah, the ads can be a bit annoying at times but that’s just about the time when you would be feeling all disturbed and need a few minutes to calm down and regroup after an intense and emotional drama, am I right? Anyhow, the apps for free BL dramas are definitely blossoming so go and see what other great stuff they have to offer!

Strange question for the day: Has anyone else had the subtitle toggle simply vanish from their browsers for certain films? I’ve found that on Firefox, the CC button is present for some films but not others (and I’m quite sure those others have subs because I’ve watched them with Chrome to confirm). Is this a browser compatibility issue with their video player or perhaps an unexpected interaction with some ad-blocker software? I’ve tried disabling extensions one by one but to no avail. Anyone experiencing this can try watching the same film in a different browser to see whether the toggle is missing there too. This is just another layer of strange that makes me suspicious that this feature is being treated as an afterthought that isn’t yet fully working.

There are several places to find subbed 'Super Sentai' episodes. Classic episodes can be found on the Shout! Factory website, which even includes Zyuranger, the Super Sentai that Power Rangers was based on. Newer seasons of Sentai can be found out on the official Tsuburaya Productions YouTube channel, where some of the episodes are even subbed and uploaded as promotional clips.
As for physical copies, I can highly recommend many of the newer Sentai series on Blu-ray (especially with the bonus features) from companies such as Shout! Factory. And for that extra bit of help or aid, even finding subbed streaming for Japan-linked channels, join up to a good Tokusatsu-themed Discord channel. They’re are a gazillion-dollar encyclopedia on limbs! In the past, I managed to stumble upon a “Share” link to High-Def “Timeranger” on a Google Drive, after someone randomly tweeted about it!
