And since Westeros and Essos are supposed to be below the average height of modern times, then 6'4" would indeed be a giant. So in both cases, his height in the show is consistent with the books. Therefore whether you are a book reader or a show watcher, you can confidently imagine Grey Rohan to be 6'4".
