To add EPUB or PDF files to Bigme e-readers running on Android, connect the device to a PC via USB, and then search for and open the e-reader’s internal memory or the memory on the SD card. Copy the books to a folder named ‘Books’ and make sure they are not protected by DRM. I downloaded ‘Reborn to Love the Ruthless Billionaire’ as an EPUB from the platform where it is being serialized and it was a simple drag-and-drop to sideload the book onto my device.

I love how easy it is to put novels on my Bigme eReader. Email is my favored method of transferring these files. I attach an eBook file to an email and send it off to myself. I then open up the email on my Bigme and download the attachment. It is great for smaller files and doesn’t require cables or software to read the eBooks.

For more books, I prefer to copy them to a microSD card. Then, I just put the card into my Bigme, wait for a few seconds and I have all the books on the device. As I mentioned before, Bigme’s file manager is great to list all the books on the device and to organize them.

If you are a tech wizard you could use an FTP application such as FileZilla to setup an FTP server on your PC and transfer the novels wirelessly to your Bigme after you have switched to the local network on your Bigme. Very efficient for large numbers of files.

For now, my preferred method for copying novels to Bigme from PC is the USB cable method. The Bigme connects up to the PC as an external drive. You can then drag & drop EPUB, PDF, and MOBI files into the Books folder on the Bigme.

An easy way to get books onto your Bigme are cloud storage. Uploading your novels to google drive, dropbox or similar online hard disk space and opening the Bigme's web browser or eBook app and downloading them from there is easy peasy when you're on the move. There are also apps such as SendAnywhere that enable wireless file transfer between devices within seconds by simply installing and opening them on both your Bigme and your other device.

Organizing the library for e-books is fun with Calibre. The program manages a large collection of eBooks. Moreover, it is able to change the format of a book, for example, in order to read it on Bigme. Connect it to the device and Calibre will do the rest, no matter what method you chose.

Using WiFi transfer apps for eReaders to transfer novels to my Bigme eReader has been excellent. The Portal by Pushbullet app allows you to simply scan a QR code placed on the unit and upload novels from your PC directly to the Bigme eReader. No setup required, very fast.

I use Calibre’s content server. I can run the server on my PC and the Bigme connects to it via the web browser on the eReader. I can then download any book I need from the Calibre library.

If simplicity is what you’re after then USB transfer is the easiest way to go. Plug the Bigme in, open up the content folder on your computer, and ‘drag and drop’ your eBooks into place. The Bigme supports pretty much all eBook file types, so you shouldn’t have any problems. Transfer one book or a hundred – it’s all so easy.

Transferring novels to your Bigme eReader is easy! Simply connect your Bigme to your PC using the USB cable and transfer your novels in the appropriate directory. This method is by far the fastest way to get your eBooks loaded onto your eReader!

If you are not near a PC then cloud services such as Google Drive are a good way to transfer your e-books. You can upload the novels from your PC and then download them on your Bigme eReader using the eReader’s built-in browser.

Wireless file transfer also works a treat using apps like SendAnywhere. You can pair your devices and transfer your files via WiFi in no time, perfect for last minute transfers when you’re on the move.

How to transfer novels from PC to kindle with paperwhite?

The best method for transferring PDF files to the Kindle is with a USB cable. Automated email conversion often fails to preserve PDF layout, reflowing text that was not intended to be reflowed. PDFs are best read on the Kindle Paperwhite using the zoom and contrast controls, and while it is not perfect, transferring the files via USB is the best way to go. If you are transferring ‘novels’ that are scanned PDFs of old books or even specific editions with unusual layouts, then transfer them via USB for the best fidelity.

How to transfer novels from PC to kobo e readers?

An easy thing to remember when transferring your books to e-readers is to organize your files before transferring them. I was very careless when I first loaded up my Kobo with hundreds of EPUB files. Instead of loading them all onto the device and then organizing them, it was much more chaotic trying to organize hundreds of books on the device. Now I organize my books using Calibre to create collections for genres and for series before transferring them to my e-readers. It makes a huge difference when browsing through my books.

How to transfer novels to e-reader kobo from a PC?

There are cloud sync alternatives to cables that don’t involve trusting a corporation to your data. To sync files with your phone, you could set up a Nextcloud or Syncthing folder on your PC, and then use the Kobo’s Dropbox integration to link that to the synced folder. It’s a rather convoluted wireless pipeline, and probably most people would find it overkill. But I’m sure there are plenty of privacy-focused tech enthusiasts out there who would appreciate the option to run a completely self-owned wireless transfer system as a project.

How to transfer books to ereaders pocketbook?

Save to PocketBook! That’s a little 3 party browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that allows you to send EPUB links directly to your PocketBook cloud when you are on sites like Project Gutenberg or even on the newsletters of authors who offer you their latest e-book in EPUB to read. And then there is the uploading to your cloud account of course. But first you would have to download it on your PC or Mac first and then upload it. A little middleman step that is cut when you use this extension. Good for people who read a lot of e-books from free libraries.

How to transfer downloaded novels to kindle mac?

Most of my novels get transferred to my Kindle from my Mac on a weekly basis. The most straightforward way to do this is via USB. You just connect the Kindle to your Mac, open up the Kindle’s ‘Documents’ folder, and dump your novels in there. If a novel is a non-MOBI PDF or some other format, I use Calibre to convert it to MOBI in a flash. Calibre is free and very easy to use – just add your novel, choose your output format, and export it to your Kindle. Emailing your Kindle is another great way to wirelessly send novels. All of your Kindles are listed on the Manage Your Content and Devices page of your Amazon account. Click on the email address associated with each Kindle and attach the novel you want to send to it. Type “convert” in the subject line of the email if you are sending a novel that is not already in MOBI or PDF format. There is also a “Send to Kindle” app available for Macs that allows you to drag and drop the novels you want to send to your Kindle and the app will automatically convert them for you. I use Dropbox too. When I’m reading a book on my iPad and I get a chance to sit at my Mac, I upload the file to my Dropbox account, open the book on my Mac, and share it with my Kindle from the ‘Share’ menu. This method is really cool if you have multiple devices. Make sure the book is in the correct format for your Kindle before you send it though.

How to transfer PDFs to ereaders nook?

Transferring PDFs to a Nook eReader is simpler than it seems, and I’ve done it countless times. First, connect your Nook to your computer using a USB cable—it should pop up as a removable drive. Open the drive, and you’ll see a folder labeled 'My Files' or something similar. Drag and drop your PDFs directly into this folder. Once done, safely eject the Nook from your computer, and the files should appear in your library. If you’re using a newer Nook model, you can also email PDFs to your device. Just go to your Nook’s settings to find its unique email address. Send the PDF as an attachment to that address, and it’ll sync automatically over Wi-Fi. Another handy method is using the Nook app on your phone or tablet. Upload the PDF to the app, and it’ll sync across your devices, including your Nook. For larger collections, I recommend organizing files into folders on your computer first to avoid clutter on your eReader.

How to transfer downloaded books from Amazon Kindle to PC?

8 Answers2025-07-27
This is super simple to do. Just Google ‘DeDRM tools Calibre’ and the first result should be a GitHub page for the plugin. Click to install and follow the instructions. Make sure your Kindle for PC app is authorized with your Amazon account. Download books to this app and then add the books from your Kindle’s data folder to Calibre (or connect your Kindle to your computer). The plugin will then strip the DRM from your books during the import process. From there you can right click on any book and change it to an EPUB file. You can then save this new EPUB file to anywhere on your computer. This whole process of transferring and converting your books is really quite simple, especially with a plugin doing all the hard work for you in the background.

How to transfer Kindle books to Paperwhite easily?

11 Answers2025-12-25
Organizing a large library on the Paperwhite is greatly improved with Collections!. After moving all your books to the device, take some time to organize them into Collections on the device or on the “Manage Your Content & Devices” website. You can organize purchased books as well as personal documents into the same Collection (such as a bookshelf). It isn’t until you organize the thousands of books that you transferred to the device that you can say that you have completed the transfer process. Organizing on the website is much faster than organizing on the device. Select the books you wish to add to a collection, click “Add to Collection” and then select or create a collection. Note that Collections organized on the Amazon device sync to other Amazon-enabled devices where you have purchased books. So in short, this feature turns a mess of unorganized files into a real library of your personal e-books.

How to transfer books to e reader boox?

10 Answers2025-06-02
For bulk uploads of large files (e.g. video, audio) or files that aren’t supported through Wi-Fi uploads, I still think the cable method is the most reliable way to get content on your Boox. Plug the device in with a USB-C cable. It should show up as a external drive on your computer, and you can drag and drop files to wherever you want in the file system. Try to put them in ‘Books’ or ‘Documents’ though, as these get automatically added to your device’s library. Note that it can take a minute or so for the library to rescan after unplugging the device, so you may not see newly added books straight away. There is also a ‘Storage’ app on Boox devices that allows you to navigate and move files around within the device’s storage. This can be useful if you accidentally put a file in the wrong place when uploading via computer.

How to transfer Google Play Books to Kindle easily?

6 Answers2025-07-06
Remember the storage capacity of your Kindle. A base Kindle has 8GB of storage. When you transfer a large Google Play library of books with images, be prepared for it to fill up very quickly. You need to be realistic about how many books you can transfer to your Kindle. Perhaps you will have to choose between purchasing and downloading other books, or purchase a Kindle with more storage. Side-loaded books also do not get the benefit of Amazon’s Whispersync service for notes and highlights between devices, unless you use the ‘Send to Kindle’ service. The annotations you put in a side-loaded book are stuck on that one device.
