Destined Redemption's Plot

Joyce has been wanting to escape from her ex-boyfriend's ruthless grasp for a long time and, following her best friend's helpful advice, she moves to another city outside Harry's reach. Upon arriving at her new residential complex, she stumbles upon Carl, a sexy and well-built guy who has all the looks of a womanizer. He offers her help carrying her luggage to her new apartment (which is just next to his) and, even though she denies it, he goes out of his way to help her anyway.

Carl, confident in his charisma and good looks, starts flirting with her and offers her a one-night stand, and even as she secretly drools over him, she sternly rejects him and attempts to downplay his attributes. For some time, he would play tricks on her to catch her attention and to make her fall in love with him, to no avail.

Meanwhile, Harry is desperately looking for her. To Joyce's dismay, he finally locates her, albeit he tries to play the "reformed man" card and claims to have changed for the better to win her over again. Joyce, even aware of all the harm he has done to her (both physically and mentally) agrees to give him a second chance, only to feel deceived once more. He begins to act in a decidedly obsessive manner and reverts to his old abusive and possessive ways.

Luckily, Carl decides to help Joyce and defend her against Harry, but will he succeed? Likewise, will he finally earn her trust, affection, and, most importantly, love?

Main Characters in Destined Redemption

Joyce Carter

Joyce is a beautiful but troubled young lady with a lot of mental baggage to sift through, especially after suffering at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, Harry Miller. Physically, she has light brown eyes, smooth hazelnut hair, and an enticing, freckled complexion coupled with sculpted facial features. Her build is slender and well-proportioned.

In terms of personality, she has grown to be highly wary of men, to the point where she would behave very cynically whenever a member of the opposite sex tries to approach her. She's also quite traumatized and is prone to have nightmares related to her past with Harry.

Carl Cooper

Carl is a boxer with an athletic body sculpted by the gods, a true Adonis with a heart of gold but who loves to presume about his "goods." Even though he appears inoffensive, there are hints that he had a dark past, though that would be disputed throughout the drama. Nevertheless, he would fashion himself as Joyce's protector once her ex comes back for a second round, and he would suffer immensely as a result of this choice. In spite of all this, he finds the cause valuable enough to endure all the setbacks.

Harry Miller

Harry is the main villain of the story, an extraordinarily handsome man with a thick, dark mane and a warm, slanted gaze. He only has eyes for Joyce but, as a result, has developed a sickening obsession with her to the point where he would physically harm her if she even appears to flirt with other guys, despite that not being the case at all. Aside from that, he's unable to measure the damage he causes due to his unhealthy fixation and can oftentimes behave like a true psychopath.

Andy Brooks

Andy is Carl's roomie and long-time friend. Even though they're both homies "for life," Andy is a bit critical of Carl's carefree lifestyle at times, but he always ends up sticking up for him whenever he's in a pickle. He's also quite the opposite in terms of attitude, conveying a more "geeky" style. In terms of physique, he's almost as tall as Carl, albeit not as fit.

"Destined Redemption"is an outstanding piece of media that, aside from its superb production values and quality, is blessed with a very enthralling script, memorable characters, and a heart-rending premise.
