"What is your problem Fred? You know how hard I've been training for this night. I'm not going to go down in a couple of rounds." I was preparing myself for the ring.

My stupid greedy brother kept on pushing me, to take a punch on the fifth round and take the fall. He was riding his money on my fight.

"Oh come on Gary, you can always make a win on the next fight. Your statistics are good. I just needed this one night only." He gloved me and help prepare me for the canvas. I didn't say anything further to him, I was beyond pissed at him.

The match went on for ten rounds. Fred was palming his face, he was looking furious at me when I finally deliver a knockout punch to my opponent. The referee did a count-out and declared me as the winner. The crowd cheered, but Fred was quiet. Then he was on his phone, frantically speaking to the other line.

"Man! I had it in the bag. Now I owe a lot of money to some shady Russian.  What am I going to do now?! Your next match isn't for another couple of weeks. And I had been banned in several of the matches." Fred was pacing back and forth in my changing room.

He was seriously not excited that I just win the match. I didn't care about him, as I quickly get changed and was about to leave him when five guys came into my changing room.

"Fred...my friend. It seemed that you owed us some money. So this is your brother yeah? So... you decided to make a winner out of yourself huh? Well then congratulation Gary Evans, now you just have to pay us five hundred grand in cash. We expect to be paid by the end of the month, that is in two weeks from now."

Then two of his men were holding Fred, and the other two were holding me. "Now...don't resist Gary, we're just going to show you that we are serious with our words. Just take it like a man and it'll be over soon enough. Now, boys, you can start. None in the face. That's for next week." Then they punched us in the gut. Hard.

Fred instantly slumped to the ground. He was moaning in pain, I was trying to hold it in. But the big guy kept on punching me like a sack, over and over again. Until I slumped to the ground and spit out blood.

What

I was back at my place an hour later. Fred dropped me off after he said that he was sorry, but he really needs my help with the money. He said he could only gather one hundred grand. I just stay silent and didn't say anything to him, I was still very pissed at him.

Staying up and drinking wasn't the best thing to do when tomorrow is a working day. But I did stay up drinking my strongest whiskey to numb the pain, then I finally get to sleep only to be woken up by my alarm a couple of hours later.

Then I lazily got up and took a hot shower. That was when I looked at the bruises. 

I took out the ingredient for my spinach and strawberry smoothies that were my scheduled for my morning smoothies this week.

I had been racking my brain since last night, I was trying to find a way to get the money. Fred was right, my match wasn't until the next couple of weeks, and it still wouldn't generate the amount of money that we needed.

That

I pressed start and watch as the spinach and strawberry mixed together, then added a banana and the last cup of yogurt that I got from the fridge. I drink it all and put all the dishes in the sink for later. I was already too late for work. I took my helmet, and put on my jacket, and pick up my leather backpack from the couch. I was out the door, five minutes later.

I arrived at the office and arranged everything for opening hour. It was a pretty easy job, a mindless one, with a nice chunk of money to support my boxing hobby.  I can't even believe I was considering this. But I need to talk to Adriana, she was scheduled to come today for her monthly meeting with Kamaria.

She had been suggesting to me for years to join the sugar baby listing since a couple of her clients were asking for me. I never felt the need to even consider it. Every time she asked, I would just smile and keep on working. I know she put me as her assistant, as a window dresser. Since I was apparently attractive enough and eye candy, for both the daddy and momma that pass through her door.

All my sex drive were thrown into the ring. I rarely dated, I didn't feel the need to. Between my day job, and my matches, and my training, I was set. I even have to limit myself to sex, before fight night. I would fucked some random groupie chick or even two, Fred would shove them to my changing room right after my wins. He said it'll be good for my reputation to keep the fans happy. Hell, I was all good, as long as they know how to please me. And I always make sure to have my protection with me, never trusted them, not one bit.

Then she entered her office. Since she married her hotshot movie guy and had a kid, she was slowly backing down from her business and handling everything down to Kamaria.

I decided to just go with it. I was doing this, just for the five hundred grand, then back to the usual shit. I knocked at her door, and let myself in.

"Ah Gary, how are you this morning? You looked like shit by the way. Late night with the ladies?" She smiled at me and sat down gracefully on the big girl boss chair.

"Er...hm yeah I need to talk to you about personal stuff if you have time?" I asked her, trying to look as casual as I could.

"My god Gary! Did you decide to join my listing? You're serious, aren't you? Hell Kamaria will just have to wait, I've been waiting for this for years." She got up and hugged me, I winced as she touches my bruise.

"Hey,  sorry Gary...I know there would be a trigger for you to finally decided to join us. Do you want to talk about it? It'll be just between you and me." Then she went to her mini bar, and got us her finest whiskey, and poured both of us a glass.

"Come, considered yourself join already. Sit and vent, just for a glass, then it will all get better." She pointed to her one-seater for me to park my ass there.

I told her everything, about my boxing match, my brother, and the Russian tugs that hassled us for money. I told her I was just doing this for that money, then I would be back to working administration stuff again.

She didn't object with my terms, I know she always takes care of her babies. That was one of the reasons why this company, was one of the favorite playgrounds for the rich and the wealthy. She got the best babies in the market.

We talked for more than an hour, then she scheduled me for my photoshoot with Francois, and the contract signing with Kamaria. I finally sighed deeply, as the issue with money was settled.

Now I just have to wait for the next step.

I can't believe I'm doing this.
