To the world, Kairo Anderson has it all. The fame, the sold out arenas, and a seemingly perfect relationship. But behind all of that is a truth he’s been hiding. His obsession with Zaire Lennox, a backup dancer who joins his tour completely unaware of the secrets Kairo is carrying, or how it could ruin them both. What started as a professional arrangement and a means to “just get close to him” becomes a blurry line that puts friendship, trust, and most of all, his hard earned career at stake. And now, Kairo has to confront the one thing he’s been shying away from, and that is the truth about what he really wants and what he’s willing to let go of. There’s just one problem with Kairo’s plan: Zaire Lennox is straight.

They took everything from him once. Sixteen years ago, Brent Lennox watched his mother die on the kitchen floor while his father’s mistress and her son stood there and did nothing. Then soon after ripping the family apart, they vanished and left him with a hollow house, a silent father, and a hatred that never cooled. Hockey became the only thing that still belonged to him and that only lasted till the day the front door opened and his past walked back in. Maddox Lennox.
His stepbrother and a former nightmare.
He was the captain of Brent’s rivalry team; The Black Eagles. He had the same cocky smile and that familiar quiet threat in his voice when he leans in and whispers,
“Your life might be taken from you again, baby bro.” Now they’re on opposite sides of the ice, leading rival university teams in a championship that will decide more than just a trophy. The Lennox name. The empire. The future. Brent intends to bury him. Maddox intends to take everything. But the closer they get, the harder it becomes to tell the difference between wanting to destroy someone… and wanting them in ways neither of them is supposed to. Rivals. Stepbrothers. And the thin ice between them is starting to crack.
