100 Pages Books Novels & Stories

he shrugged, stepping closer. "A little? You have at least thirty books on that shelf." His lips twitched with a smile. "Thirty five," "Oh my god! I can't believe this. I thought you'd be like a forty eight laws of power kind of man. Or Atomic Habits. You're reading Harlequin and Silhouette desires!" I gaped.

Author's Note: Guys, guess what... DIRTY PAGES is officially on 1k views!!! Thank you so, so much, guys. Hitting 1,000 views on my very first book means more to me than you could ever imagine. I was literally awake last night, watching that 996 view count like my life depended on it – refreshing, pacing, hoping – and when it finally flipped to 1.0k, I swear my heart did a whole somersault.

I ask. "That will be way too heavy" she sighs. She hasn't exactly made things easy on herself, one looks like it's at least 600 pages. "Ever thought about getting one of those e-reader thingies? They hold all your books on one device" I say, gesturing behind the counter to a display of different screens. She smiles slightly before going back to the covers in front of her.

Author's Note. Happy 100 chapter, readers!!!! I am very happy, I didn't know that I'll come this far. Thanks for staying with me till now, I really appreciate it. Like I have said before, I initially planned to write just 15 chapters for this book but now I am going to write 150. And guess what, 2/3 is done! We've got only 50chapters more to go!. There is going to be 2 extra chapters before the commencement of the 3rd volume which is the last volume.

He would be totally shocked if Hans finished reading those 8 books in just a short amount of time. Hans put down the book he was currently reading and confusedly asked, “Which books are you referring to?” Anthony pointed at the 8 books piled in shock. But what surprised him, even more, is when Hans nodded. He really finished reading those books. That’s ridiculous! “What?!… How did you read those books? By just scanning them?” Those books weren’t thin in the first place. Each book consists of 400 pages or more. Hans reading it at a fast pace is like how a photocopier works. It’s very fast.

One, matches the color of the moon. I carefully open it and immediately note how frail the pages are, it's clearly old. A burst of impatience seems to rip through me and I bring up the bulk of the book’s pages and flick to the end. I stop with about a quarter of the book left, since it isn’t completely filled out. There’s a list of names, going back hundreds of years.

Ed observed Ruby selecting a novel yesterday. "Yes, I like thick ones. They last longer, but that also depends on the storyline. The excitement of the story determines its duration. I once finished a book over a thousand pages long in three days because it was thrilling, but there's one very thin book I still haven't finished because it's boring. I always fall asleep while reading it." Ruby explained it at length, forgetting her intention to be cautious. It had been a long time since she talked about books with anyone, so she easily got carried away. Usually, she would discuss books—or anything—with her mother, which was no longer possible.

Why can't they just have one or two really good books, instead of three or four adequate ones? I pick up one of them, see that it's about good and evil fairies that are at war, and quickly put it back. I am not reading four hundred pages of fake conflict and two fairy hunks fighting over a fairy princess. Give me a cliché werewolf or vampire story any day.

“For you.” I could hardly believe it. Flipping through the composition book, I could make out pages upon pages filled with neat handwriting, what looked like ten chapters worth of reading, and even… a couple of smutty scenes. My cheeks warmed as I flipped to a random page and read something about the dragon turning into a man, and…

It went from the first floor to the second floor, and the fragrance of books was strong. Every book had a division. When he was looking for books related to clothing design, when he passed by the technical section, he accidentally saw a book called "Nature of Pregnant Ten Month". Out of curiosity, he took it out and flipped through it.
