When Custos noticed it, the spirit chuckled before continuing. Custos continued before sipping the tea, "There are a lot more universes than you could ever imagine, and all of them differ from one another," Some are the same. Books that were written by imagination are simply like windows to that dimension. " Aesthelia, lost in the train of her thoughts, confusedly said, 'If that's the case, some of the authors imagined what happened from a certain dimension." The fiction turns out to be a real story now that I heard this. I don't know. '

I didn't know how true that was, and for very different reasons than I had imagined. That was the start of my Christmas vacation, but far from the end. Up to this point, I've written in excess of the required 3000 words (3212). I've also front loaded my vocabulary words. Dr. Hamilton, if you could find it in your heart to commiserate with my plight, please read no further, and grade me on what I've written so far. * * *

You could hear them giggling from my room as they played. My father is around his late forties and my mom around her late thirties. I believed that my father would have given birth to me in his early twenties, some of those men that wanted to settle down quickly. Later that night, I read my email inbox and got the proof-read and corrected part of the book from my form master and Vivian and I really liked their work of criticism. I quickly went to work implementing some changes in the book and by the end, I had written over 30 thousand words making it a 120 pages of book. I wasn't satisfied at the quantity but I promised myself that I will do better when I write the sequel 'Ghetto in Trouble'

But sometimes, it's depressing to think I cant never be enough for this field. I leaned on my chair and stared at the ceiling as I clicked the last word of the draft. I don't know if I should continue this. I don't have a proper outline and I can only write a thousand words per chapter which is unusual of me because I usually write three to four thousand words per chapter. I just couldn't find the write words to exprss how I feel. Or maybe, no words could define the thoughts I want to substantiate.

I loved being more practical. I stared at my blank page, tapping the pen against it. I had no clue what to write about. The instructions were to write a short story of one thousand words. I didn't want it to feel forced. I looked up at Crislynn who was writing away. I let out a heavy sigh and then I looked down at my blank page again.

"Probably. I'll listen to all of it and change none of it unless he shows me a factual error." "He knows that's how you work." "Yes," she said. "He does." Julian looked at the stack of pages. "Three hundred and twelve pages," he said. "Approximately ninety thousand words." "About us." "About all of it," she said. "You and Malcolm and the system and the thirty-seven people and what accountability actually looks like when you stop performing it and start doing it." She looked at him. "You're in it a lot. But you're not the point of it."

"Like having teeth?" She grinned. "Sort of, yeah. Except with feelings instead of molars." He nodded gravely. "Sounds painful." "It was," she said quietly, touching the end of the page. "But it was worth it." Luke leant against the doorframe, watching them. His tie was undone, shirt sleeves rolled up, face tired but approving. "Is that the final draft?" Amiriam turned the screen around to present it to him. "It is. All seventy-two thousand words. Edited, formatted, and sent to my publisher an hour ago."

Then she had written the proposal. It was twelve pages. The clearest twelve pages she had ever written — not because the content was simple, the content was enormously complex, but because she had been thinking about it for long enough that the structure was clean and the arguments were tight and every implication had been followed to its conclusion and addressed. She gave it to Kade first.

And the site is doing something no record has ever been written to describe. Copy that and come back for Chapter Forty Eight at exactly 2000 words!

I like making my chapters at least 3k words because I pack a lot into one chapter and I am unable to do that with a word limit of 1500-2k (to keep my chapters affordable I need to keep them between that word count). This story is dragging on because I'm trying to figure out how to keep it at a good pace while also keeping the chapters short and sweet. I'm afraid I'll either make the story too fast or as I am making it now, too slow. I am unable to find a healthy balance and this story is starting to become more of a burden than a joy like it originally is supposed to be.
