James Russo

James Russo

“$80,000! Any one? Okay—.” . “$200,000 dollars.” A masculine voice spoke and suddenly the room fell in silence. My eyes looked around for who was it but my head snapped to the host who started to speak, “$200,000! Anyone? Anyone? Okay $200,000 one, two and three. Sold! Sold to mr James Russo.” My eyes widened in horror. James? James Russo?! Is it the same James Russo thatI know? Oh no! I was pulled up again by my forearm and dragged ruthlessly away from the spotlight and back to the backstage. I was shivering and I was sure I looked no less than a wet dog, shivering with tears rolling down her eyes, and wet face.

Chasing back my ex-wife

Chasing back my ex-wife

I stayed behind the glass. “Your name,” Lucas demanded, sitting across from him. He hesitated. Lucas slammed his palm on the table. “Your name young man!” “D–Daniel,” he stammered. “Daniel Wood.” “Where do you live?” “Brooklyn,” he said fast. “New York.” Lucas leaned forward. “Who sent you?” Silence. Lucas nodded once and signaled to the officer beside him. The chair scraped as the man stiffened. “Who,” Lucas repeated slowly, “sent you to harm Miss Kiara?”

Broken Illusions

Broken Illusions

“Daniel Richards, you’re under arrest for conspiracy, money laundering, illegal arms dealing, and human trafficking.” Daniel’s eyes widened in shock as he took in the sight of the officers surrounding him, their weapons drawn and ready. He looked from Lena to Jessica and back, a sneer spreading across his face. “This isn’t over,” he hissed, his voice low and dangerous. “You think you’ve won? You have no idea what I’m capable of.”

Divorced My CEO Husband, He Came Begging

Divorced My CEO Husband, He Came Begging

I should have gone with the red— The door opened and Daniel stepped in, and every thought in my head vanished like smoke. He wore navy cotton pants and a gray t-shirt with the facility logo. His hair curled at the ends, longer than the precisely maintained cut he'd always favored. The circles under his eyes were pronounced. But he was still Daniel—still carried himself with that core of certainty I'd always envied. "Five minutes, then Morris takes over," said the attendant to someone in the hall. Then to Daniel: "I'll be right outside, Mr. Russo." Daniel nodded, not looking at the man. His eyes stayed on me, unreadable.

The book is insanely interesting. At first, it starts like all the other novels of this genre, but quickly deviates from the clichés by being actually true to reality in terms of abusers and their behavior. The author also brilliantly addresses the reality of the "savior" trope. It's refreshing af

Totally riveting!!! Fully developed characters and unexpected plot twists with satisfying resolutions. l love that the main characters are not perfect. They are flawed despite their wealth and power which makes the novel realistic. I hate that it has to end. I'm reading the last 2 chapters tonight.

Contracted to the Mafia Boss Leonardo De Luca

His goons standing against the wall with muscles visible through their cheap suits, but still no sign of Olivia or Rosa. “I've come to deliver a warning De Luca. I'm not a man to be played with.” “No kidding.” I gave a humorless laugh at his words. Finding nothing funny at the realization that Stanley had also vanished into thin air. “What's the warning?” I asked. And Isaac nodded to his goons. “Your workers and family are safe.” The goons went out, which I presumed was to go and let everyone out from wherever they had kept them. “You insulted me when you refused my daughter De Luca.” He said, taking a few steps to be all in my face.
