MINE TO OWN

MINE TO OWN

Counted the exits. Measured the distance between him and the doors he'd never reach. When it was his turn, his legs buckled halfway up the stairs. He hit the stage hard, a jarring shock of pain shooting up his side. Gasps rippled through the crowd. A predator’s excitement thickened the air. Zane forced himself to stand. He would not cry. He would not beg. If they wanted to own him, they would have to work harder than that. The blinding lights made his skin prickle. Sweat slid down his spine. He heard the auctioneer’s voice booming through the cavernous room: "Lot Eighty-Two. Male. Age twenty. English-American descent. Healthy. Certified. And obviously—a work of art indeed."

electricity, running straight to my chest. He must feel the way I stiffen, the way my pulse races under his touch, because his expression softens. "I'm sorry," he says, voice lower now, quieter, like we're the only two people in the café. "I didn't mean to push." He releases me slowly, deliberately, and slides a small black card across the table. His name embossed in silver. A number. Nothing else. "Think about it," he murmurs. "It comes with... perks. More than you'd imagine. Working with me could change everything for you."

Mine to Protect

Mine to Protect

She wasn’t going to let a devilishly handsome man with the deepest blue eyes she had ever seen distract her from that. Losing herself in the documents on the Angolan diamond mine the Corporation wanted to buy, she could see why her father wanted the mine. The exploration activities by the mine indicated that there was a viable kimberlite pipe that could produce diamond deposits in over 20 years. Looking at the business reports for the company that held the majority shares presently, it showed that they didn’t have the funds to develop and excavate the pipe. The new contract showed that Lopes Corporation will gain the majority shares, while the former company kept 20 per cent shares in the di

I saw tiny diamond falling inside the cave. I looked up at the top of the cave to see where it was coming from but I didn't see anything, it was like it was falling from thin air. It was so amazing. I stretched my hand to catch the one of the diamond which fell on my open palm, it was cold. "Do you like it" I heard Derek voice and I looked up to him , he was staring back at me with his blue eyes. "I love it" I said. " I know you will " he smiled at me making him look more handsome and then he walked close to me and held my left hand.

I'm A Quadrillionaire

I'm A Quadrillionaire

Each and every one of them was so thin they were skin and bones. 80 percent of them were men, and 20 percent of them were women. There were also a few of them pushing the ores out from the mining hole. “Ding! Ding!” The sound of mining was a lot clearer once they went in. The miners were hard at work while the supervisors from the Grim family were seated at the side surrounded by meat and fruits. There were beauties serving them, massaging them, and feeding them. David and the two also saw a pile of about ten bodies stacked casually on top of each other. These were probably the miners that had fainted or died today.

Very nice story but lots of unfinished details left behind. My. author please make another part 2. You dont want us to guess the chapters which are left behind. Not good i like your story but justgive all of us readers a good explanation regarding the end. Im a bit disappointed that we are hanging.

The writer mentioned Leo tate was a playboy, but I found David was more than Leo. His value was too low. They respect him bcuz of his power, but they deceive they used him not even like a begger. He should help but not by deceiving or using in a wrong way. He bring shame to the Overlord. Be mature

“What’s so good about this? Huh?” My smile faded. “Eighty-seven percent?” He scoffed. “Do you know how many candidates come back successful with an eighty-seven percent compatibility score?” I was quiet, because I honestly didn’t know. “Exactly!” He yelled. “None!” “Eighty-seven percent is above the requirement for mission success," I countered. “Eighty-seven percent is….” “Not a hundred,” he interrupted me. “it’s not even a ninety.” He shook his head in disappointment.

One Night Stand with the Secret Billionaire

One Night Stand with the Secret Billionaire

The red dot on the monitor pulsed like a slow, steady heartbeat. Lucas stood in the dim light of the loft, his eyes fixed on the coordinates. The North Mine. It was a massive stretch of land he had fought tooth and nail to reclaim from the Sterling family’s grasp months ago. It was a place of shadows, stone, and secrets.

Beyond the Divorce

I asked curiously. "Curious?" he asked back. "Can’t I ask about that?" I looked at him, mirroring his earlier question. "You're my wife. Of course you’re allowed to ask about that. You've just never asked, so I never told you. Well, we only own two-fifths of mines globally,” he replied nonchalantly. What? Two-fifths of mines around the world? He had said "only". What a flex. I knew how modest he had been in the past now.

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

His Lordship Alexander Kane

His Lordship Alexander Kane

It descended slowly from the sky. A young man in a casual suit stepped out of the cabin, briskly walking toward the crowd, raising his hand in a gesture of greeting. He then politely introduced himself, "I'm Heath Elden, acting on behalf of Mister Kane... No, on behalf of Mister Kane, I've come to negotiate with the Ninth Mining Zone!" "All mineral resources in the Ninth Mining Zone, specifically graphite mines, will be pre-purchased. The actual mining and handover procedures will be completed jointly by Mister Darius and me."

I was hooked in reading this book. But why the sudden ending? It doesn’t make any sense. Still have alot of loose endings what happened to black maple master? The jade pendants? This is pure money making stint.

My car, my driver, all waiting, but I stayed with her. “How many more of these do you have?” she asked. “Companies?” “Yeah.” “I have three more,” I said. “Romano is the most important. It was my first. Like your first child. You get attached.” She chuckled. Strange pride warmed my chest. “Trust me. I know,” she said. “This is me,” she said, stopping in front of a black Hyundai Elantra. “Thanks for walking me.” “Thanks for the genius idea upstairs,” I replied, letting a small smile escape.
