A psychopath is a cold, ruthless, heartless, and inhuman being. Belladonna Salvador is one of those. She's pretty and super intelligent, just like any other psychopath. As a child, she never felt any love from anyone, and neither had friends nor anyone to talk to. She was abandoned by her father and experienced constant abuse from her mother. Even her aunt wanted her killed. As a child, love was deprived of her. All she wanted was someone to love her. Then she meets Jameson Abalos. He figured that it was already going to be hard to protect her as she is a Detective but now with the added threat from The God of Torture, he would have to enlist the help of an old friend. His feelings for Sierra were making it harder for him to be her guardian and he knew that it was only a matter of time before he would succumb to them. So the villain can be jealous. Interesting. "Jealous much? " "Yes, after all, you're my therapist, not theirs right ??" "maybe?" she paused taking a deep breath, "but what can I say? It seemed to me that the Villain is jealous. Goodbye, Mr. Nyx." She stood up, arranging her papers before walking toward the door. She was leaving him hanging on her words. The villain of her story.

While solving one of the cases, detective Esther Moore comes across a legend that grandmother told her long ago. Soon the line between what is real and what is not gradually blurs. Are the legendary 'Scarlet Angels' real or is Esther losing her mind?
