“I had best see results of this proclamation within a month, Rivyn, or I will be displeased,” Aurien growled.
“Two months,” Rivyn qualified. “I am in the middle of my own quest, remember, my friend.”
The way down the mountain was littered with burnt corpses and discarded armour. The villager’s fear of Aurien was not unjustified I noted grimly. “Why do all these knights keep trying?” I wondered. “When it is evident that so many have failed.”
