Novel & Cerita A Christmas Story Movies

He was on the bed and had his body covered halfway by the duvet. “A horror film,” He replied smoothly. “Tomorrow’s Christmas, aren’t you supposed to be watching a Christmas movie or something?” I scoffed playfully. “In my case, I’m almost tired of Christmas movies. I get bored of things faster than most people.” He patted the space next to him. “Come on. When you’re done, join me. This movie is a killer!” He sounded excited. I was actually looking forward to jumping in bed with him and cuddling in his arms as we watched people killing each other on a TV screen. It seemed like a great way to spend a few more hours before Christmas.

"I do have a lot to do today in the kitchen, so I guess I'll get to it." I watched him exit the game room, before I turned to face Hayley. "So..." I leaned closer to her. "Since you have forgiven me, I guess we can talk about you, right?" "Me?" She looked up at me through her pretty lashes. "But I want you to continue the story." "Oh, we will. And what's so special about this story?" "It says everything about what happens during Christmas." "Ah..." I nodded. "You're very excited about Christmas this year?"

There was this event set aside for couples only. People would show up with their love, play games, eat, and have fun. It's a lively thing that happens every Christmas evening. To others, it was just a show, but for me, it was more than that…it was the day I wanted Jax to fall on his knees and beg me to come back. Although he had, that wasn't enough because I still see him with Eleanor. I want Eleanor out of his life. I rushed towards the door without thinking I clicked the door open. A lady stepped in without notifying me.

Killian immediately shrugged out of his jacket and draped it around her shoulders, and she pulled it tight around herself, breathing in his scent. "I loved Christmas here," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "It was—they made it so special. So magical. Mrs Morales would start decorating the day after Thanksgiving. She had made us all hot chocolate and put on Christmas music–Mary's Boy Child by Bonney M precisely, and we'd spend the whole day turning the house into something out of a Hallmark movie. And Mr Morales, he'd read us the Christmas story every single night in December, counting down until the actual day. And Daryl would—" She couldn't finish. "I hated the smell of Christmas

"Maya, welcome. I'm glad you're here." Then he was gone, disappearing toward the stairs. I watched him go, seeing the tension in his shoulders, the way he moved just a little too fast. Like he was escaping. "He's been so weird lately," Sophie said. "Working too hard, probably." Melissa gave me a look I couldn't quite read. Like she'd seen something. After dinner, everyone migrated to the living room for a movie. I sat through thirty minutes before claiming exhaustion. Sophie hugged me goodnight. "I'm so happy you're here. This is going to be the best Christmas."

I have never trusted December. People say that sounds dramatic, but those people never watched their parents’ house burn down on Christmas Eve while the rest of the town kept singing carols like nothing happened. So yes, every time snow falls, my skin crawls. And tonight, on December 1st, Hallowpine is drowning in it. Snowflakes tumble from the sky like they’re drunk on holiday spirit, sticking to my eyelashes as I lock up my bakery. Sugar & Sin,the name sounds cute until you realize the only sugar inside is the kind I dump into coffee to survive this town.

“Yeah, I did. It’s a Christmas romance movie. I don’t think we have ever watched it before.” The movie is titled Christmas in Dallas. There is a cowboy and a woman dressed in a business looking suit on the screen. It’s probably one of those opposites attract kind of movies. I used to hate romance movies of any kind, but now that I have my dream girl I don’t mind watching romance movies anymore. "Looks good, let's watch it." I say, smiling. Adalina hits play and the three of us sit there just like that watching the movie. Spencer plays with her hair and I rub her feet, sneaking a hand up a little higher up her leg every so often just to tease her.

I stayed facing the wall like an idiot until she came back down in leggings and an oversized hoodie, no bra, I could tell from the way the fabric moved when she walked. "Movie¿" She Asked "Why not" I responded We ended up on the couch with hot chocolate spiked with rum and a cheesy Christmas Rom-com movie queued up. Some Hallmark knockoff about a city girl and a small-town carpenter. The light began dimming, fire crackling, snow piling against the windows - The usual Xmas feeling Halfway through, the wind picked up, and the house groaned, as drafts crept in. Jessica shivered, pulled the throw blanket over her legs.

“She really loves Ms. Williams.” “Really?” I couldn’t help but smile at Ashley. “That movie came out nine years ago. I’m not even sure I look the same anymore.” The Little Angels… A family movie about a kindergarten teacher at an orphanage—Hailey Williams—who tried to help her students find families before Christmas. In the end, the children celebrated Christmas together… with her. That movie had touched so many hearts. It still aired every holiday season. And yet… I never received a single royalty from it.
