Rowan said, pointing to the center of the library.
A large glass screen was flickering. It showed a map of the universe, but millions of dots were blinking out. Entire worlds were turning gray.
"The harvest," I whispered. "They didn't stop because I broke the heart. They just moved to the secondary source."
I looked at the map, and my blood froze. My home world, the place where I grew up, was the next dot to go gray.
"We have ten minutes," a voice said from the shadows.
A man stepped out. He looked like the Architect, but his hair was white and his eyes were a soft, human brown. He was holding a small silver box.
