Deep Inside
He boxed me in, one arm on either side of my head, his body heat wrapping around me like smoke.
“You don’t know me,” I said.
“No,” he agreed. “But I know enough.”
He bent close, nose brushing mine. “I know you work two jobs. That you’re paying for someone’s care, your mother, I assume. I know you haven’t let a man touch you in over a year because you don’t trust easy. And I know you taste like heaven.”
My breath caught.
“You had me followed?”
“I had you found,” he corrected. “Big difference.”
