I noticed she sleeps a lot. We found Tristan and Henry leaning casually against a gray car. Tristan's arms were crossed, his head turned in our direction the moment we stepped out. "Well, well, look who's here," Henry called out teasingly. "Our future queen." I offered a forced smile. Henry's gaze shifted to Ama. "And you—don't you know how to smile at least?" Ama rolled her eyes. "That's none of your business." His eyes widened, mock offense all over his face.

"Good night, Your Majesty," Yifa humbly conveyed as she gracefully bowed. The King lay in bed, safe and secure, much like a cherished child. Yifa had diligently ensured he consumed all his medicine and could rest comfortably unaided. Returning the gesture, King Benedict replied, "Good night to you as well." He secretly hoped for her presence again tomorrow, as he had many more fascinating stories he wished to share. In a way, he recognized that he was using Yifa for his own benefit, much like a doting father leveraging her attentive ear. The joy of speaking about his passions and interests brought him a sense of happiness and liberation.

Anticipation thrills through me as the last piece of my clothing is removed, and I turn, utterly naked in front of him, the King. Tai’s eyes are nearly unrecognisable, a dark shadow having passed over his irises, full of need and desire like nothing I’ve seen from him before. His eyes were intense as he stared back at me. "Let's go back home. I can't wait to get you out of this costume." I giggled, looking around. "We can't! Just a few more hours." He groaned but nodded his head. *** By the end of the night, we were the only ones left. My mother and father were busy with Ella; meanwhile, Andrew and Adrian were trying to catch Aiden as he ran around with their candy. So mischievous that one! "Kryptonite," Edward whispered, his eyes meeting mine.

I would be mortified, and I probably should be, but there is something amusing about Marek confident tone that makes me want to play back. "I heard that too, although the looks part is debateable," I tell the girl, nudging Marek in the side. The girl looks thoughtful, believing it, considering how gorgeous she thinks the King is. Marek's eyes narrow on me, his fingertips drumming impatiently against the countertop. "We are going to need that room urgently." The woman wastes no time once I pay her. "Here's your key."
