The Alpha King Who'll Avenge Me

The Alpha King Who'll Avenge Me

“There are two more nights, right? I’ll skip tonight.” “Very well, my queen. Would you like me to escort you back?” “No need,” I quickly declined. I said goodbye to the other Lunas and quickly descended from the tower, aware of their puzzled looks. I didn’t care! I had to find out who was flashing that light at the tower, and I was sure it was on purpose. Once on the ground, I crept along the side of the tower, past the fortress wall, until I reached the edge of the forest. There were no more Lunas at the tower windows, so I could enter the forest.

Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

“Don’t hm me! Respect my experience. I know what I’m looking at, and I’m looking at someone who’s smart, capable, and a badass warrior falling for some suspicious lout with nothing but nice muscles and a pretty face. He’s not even rich! All that gold and jewelry is a sham, he can’t spend that anywhere.” “All right, I’m leaving—” “Wait. There’s one more thing.” She rolled her eyes. “What is it.” “Something’s going on at the Tower. The mages are training more. A lot more. Word is there’s going to be a march soon, and they’re sending everyone they can spare to the north.”

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.

Return to the Fateful Day

Return to the Fateful Day

A crowd had gathered outside, desperate to know more. She held her staff as she chanted spells. Five rays of light shot out of the baby's forehead under her chanting, one of which shot into Kevin's body. A red mark quickly formed around his wrist, while the other four rays shot off elsewhere. Lyra covered her mouth in surprise. "Goodness! The child has five fathers!" Everyone gasped in shock. She continued, "Alpha Kevin, you are… one of them!" The crowd started shouting in astonishment. "This is unheard of! The child has several fathers!"

The Fierce Little Thing And Her Five Mates

The Fierce Little Thing And Her Five Mates

“Well, let’s disappoint them.” Henry drives the blade into a specific rune, twisting it just so. A flicker of dark light pulses through the sigils, and then...Silence. The tower goes dead. No more hum. No more pulsing. The wards flicker and drop like veils in a breeze. Henry looks up at me, and for once, he actually smiles. “That’s one down.” “Three to go?” “Two. Kai’s distraction should keep the central tower from rerouting.” I nod and pull out the flare crystal from my pouch. A quick squeeze and a soft pulse of green light shoots into the air, low, dim, but enough for Layah’s team to see from inside. One tower down. Comms cut. Proceed with phase two.

Queit Places: A Novella of Cosmic Folk Horror

Queit Places: A Novella of Cosmic Folk Horror

The rotunda atop the tower was glowing with an eerie light that changed from purple to deep blue as we beheld it. We entered the tower by the western gate, beneath the Bull, and made our way directly to the base of the tower. There were only two doors in the whole of the base. “One of these leads to the vaults, the other to the summit of the tower,” said Patterson. “Which do we choose?” I asked. “Whichever one leads us to the Gate,” said McKendrick. “But which is that?” “The third tractate of the Vos Hokkumah scrolls instructs us to think with the ‘mind of God,’” said Patterson. “The Codex Conscienta tells us that God descended to the material plane in order to achieve the ultimate ascendanc

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

Cord breathed, his golden eyes reflecting the pale glow. "It's an antenna," I said, wiping the blood from my mouth and forcing myself to stand. "But it won't catch the moon's gravity from inside this foundry. We have to mount it." "Mount it where?" Corren asked, staring at the forty-foot hovering spear. I looked up at the ceiling of the forge, and then instinctively turned my gaze toward the center of the city. "The highest point in Aethelgard," I said, a cold, terrifying resolve settling over my exhausted mind. "The roof of the Grandmaster’s Spire. We are going to nail this tuning fork to the top of my tower, and we are going to ring the bell."

"You need to climb at the top of the tower where four runes are inscribed on the floor. Just stand on one each and you will enter the first layer." They hurriedly climbed them till they arrived at the top of the structure where they saw the designed runes. Nigel raised a hand to claim their attention. "As we enter, we will run straight for the passage that leads to the lower layer. We will stop once we reach the passage for the third one to reorganize." Everyone nodded and stepped on one of the runes. The pressure of the teleportation pressed on their sea of consciousness and, when they reopened their eyes, they were in a field covered in snow.

Fated to the Beast

Fated to the Beast

"East tower? You mean the tallest black tower I saw up ahead?" "Yeah, you just need to go up to the second floor from here. There is a hallway on the right. You have to go straight and look for the fifth door. There you will find a shortcut to the east tower!" Rain recorded all of Erica's explanations in her head. This job is not as easy as she imagined. She had to walk for at least ten minutes to get to the east tower. Worse yet, she had to bring a tray of food. The most crucial thing about being a waiter is to serve food on time while the food is still very good.

The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

" Time to kick some ass. " So this seemed like a typical week so far. Save a hybrid from an evil organization, get attacked by an evil hybrid, get captured by that evil hybrid, and eventually have to stop that evil hybrid from committing mass genocide. We were on our way to the top of the tower as I carried Eric. “We were on our way to the top of the tower as I carried Eric. “We have to stay outside the tower until we reach the hyper core Eric said. “It’s the best way to get there without Ethos knowing where we are.”
