Almost instinctively, I pulled out my phone and checked my browsing history for the video from last night. I turned to the mirror above it. The stranger staring back at me had my face. She had my short, copper hair. She had my nose, my chin. But her skin was the color of moonlight, pale and lifeless. And her eyes… My hazel eyes were gone. In their place were pools of liquid crimson, glowing like coals. An abomination. I was one of them. A leech. A monster. "What did you do?" I whispered to the reflection. I bared my teeth and the monster in the mirror mimicked me, mocking me with my own face.
