“Miss. Lozenge, now could you please get up let us know what we were studying just now?” The irritated sound of the English professor buzzed in Scarlet’s ears bringing her back to the class, while everyone’s heads whipped in her direction watching her get up slowly like she was sick.

Damon rubbed his eyes. He wanted to believe that. It was stupid, really. If this whole thing with talking was just meant to get him to drop his guard, then it was working. Wasn’t he smarter than this? He tried to pull his anger and hate forward, to shield himself from unfortunate emotions—but he was so tired of being angry. He sighed as he turned toward her. "How many witches are in Scanthin ?” “I only know about one,And that is me Scarlett." Scar murmured, holding herself tightly.Damon advanced on her and she backed into the wall, staring up at him with wide eyes. “Why should I believe you?”

The room was almost similar to Tanya's spell room. There were candles, glass vials with different liquids, and books on the shelves. Scarlet moved around the room frantically, she took a glass bottle containing a white substance. It was like salt and she poured it on the floor making a circle around Vincent. She scattered everywhere looking for something. Cyrus appeared in the room, seeing Scarlet moving around scattering the books on the shelf. " What are you doing?" he asked her but she avoided his question, then she picked a book from the pile she had thrown on the floor.

RICHARD'S POV “Scarlet?” I repeated after the butler and unconsciously, I released her hand and studied her face closely as if the answer I was looking for was there. “Miss Scarlet, you're needed inside. Kindly follow me” the butler instructed and Essa moved away from me and followed the man. I was forced to follow them upstairs as I haven't recovered from the shock. “What took you so long, Scar?” I stood in front of the room listening in to their conversation.

Something sinister lay in the silence and Dan turned to scan the way. He wouldn't be caught off guard again. A shadow shifted in his periphery, and he turned as a man stepped from between two cars. Medium heights. Medium build. Well-dressed and carrying a briefcase. Not someone Betty would normally have noticed. Not someone she would normally have thought of as a threat. But these weren't normal circumstances, and everyone was a threat until proven otherwise. "Hey!" the man called out, offering a quick wave and a brief smile. "I've locked myself out of my car, and my cell phone is in it. Can you give me a hand?"

I couldn't finish what I was going to say when she widened glared her eyes at me. "Okay okay. Let's go, Scarlet, let's get ready for the party." I extended my hand to her and she hold it too. When we got home to the condo, we started to fix ourselves. A little while later someone knocked on my condo. That must have been the gown I asked our steward to carry. Scarlet is currently taking a bath in the shower room, I was about to join her but she just glared at me indicating that she didn't want me to join her

"Since that is the case, I will never let go this time. I only pray she can give me a chance to accept me." Theodore's face looked completely monstrous at this point. I stared blankly at Logan, my face flushing red against my will. The following day, when I intended to step outside for a walk, I caught sight of Raymond. Dressed entirely in black, he stood perfectly still within the shadows. Bloodshot lines covered his eyes, his expression terrifyingly grim. He had actually pursued me all the way to the Northern Pack.

She takes it wondering if he will ask her to feed him next .

Dex and Elian regarded the newcomers coldly. Especially their leader, who was a tall, broad-shouldered man with a thick ginger beard and fiery red hair tied back in a knot. A nasty scar ran through his left eyebrow, giving him a permanently pissed-off look. Dex’s hand hovered near his holster, and Elian’s finger was already itching on the trigger. He was still hoping to get more kills anyways. “You took something that belongs to us. Where is it?” The leader asked, his deep and loud voice ringing through the warehouse.
