A Castle of Secrets
I’d been too forward, too honest, and now, he wasn’t interested.
“What are you doing?” Chaos’ eyes found mine as he pulled me back to him.
“I’m sorry, I talk too much and ruined the moment.”
Chaos tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. His touch was so gentle and tender, I felt butterflies flutter around my stomach. Chaos was normally rough, with his words and touch, but it felt as if something shifted.
“You did no such thing,” he whispered against my lips, “I just don’t want to hurt you.”
“I’m not fragile,” I whispered, reaching back down to finish undoing his pants.
