Troubled Heart

Troubled Heart

The new place wouldn't. And where would I go for walks now? What if the squirrels in this Brooklyn weren’t as dumb? What if someone else peed on my trees? What if I forgot the way back? With a heavy sigh, I curled into Lilac’s lap and stared out the window as the skyline shifted around us. Everything was changing. But at least I wasn’t going alone. The new place didn’t smell like us. Not at first.

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.

Falling For His Forsaken Wife

Falling For His Forsaken Wife

"Right now, you do nothing. You let me figure out who I am without you." "And then?" "And then we see what happens." After I hung up, I made myself a simple dinner and sat by the windows watching the city come alive with evening lights. Brooklyn felt different from Manhattan - more artistic, more diverse, more like a place where regular people lived real lives instead of performing success. My phone buzzed with a text from Miguel. "How is the first night in your new place?" I smiled, typing back: "Peaceful. Scary. Good." "Want company? I could bring takeout."

The Heir

The Heir

"We grow. We plant more trees, build more homes, teach more children. We show everyone who said it couldn't be done that it can. And we never forget why we started." She stood up, offering her hand to her sister. "But first, let's eat. I'm starving, and those tomatoes look perfect." As they walked toward the community center, where the smell of fresh bread and roasted vegetables drifted through the open windows, Bella glanced back at the stone marker one last time. The small apple tree that had sprouted at its base during the festival had grown taller, its leaves unfurling toward the sky like hands reaching for the sun.

REJECTED BY LOVE

REJECTED BY LOVE

Once upon a time, Eloise had found New York so daunting. Its people, its busy streets and that damn Brooklyn bridge. Eloise chuckles lightly to herself when she remembers how terrified of the bro dog she used to be. Now, so much has changed that all those feel like someone else’s experiences.

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

Family. Community. A city no longer surviving separately. Void’s shadows moved warmly around the rooftop. Not cold anymore. Protective. Belonging. Then something impossible happened. The largest lantern tree near the rooftop center suddenly bloomed all at once. Silver-gold flowers exploded across the branches like tiny stars igniting. The entire rooftop went quiet. At the center of the tree trunk— words slowly appeared glowing beneath the bark. Not carved. Grown. People stepped closer carefully. Reading together beneath drifting petals.

Puck Love Reunited - Book 2 in the Minnesota Ice Series

She looks and smiles up at me. “The happiest ever, Mr Brannigan. This is fun choosing trees together. Last year I was in New York, and it wasn’t the same. The girls I shared the apartment with were more focused on going out and getting laid and I ended up choosing something small for the apartment. Besides it was so tiny we couldn’t have a big tree. This year is special.”

Twenty Seven Days

Twenty Seven Days

New York. Brooklyn. Thursday. 12:34 AM. The air in Brooklyn always felt different than the air in Manhattan. It was heavier, more grounded, smelling of wet asphalt and woodsmoke rather than the sterile, metallic scent of high-rise power. Scarlett sat in the passenger seat of the black sedan, her fingers digging into the leather upholstery as Xavier navigated the quiet streets of Boerum Hill.

Everyone Expected Me To Divorce

Everyone Expected Me To Divorce

I looked at the big tree with the hole in it, and remembered that Brooklyn told it her secrets and showed her body, and I suddenly had a trace of jealousy. According to the will of the moon goddess, Brooklyn's dependence should be on me, not on a big tree. I waited until it was almost 12 o'clock before I saw Brooklyn's figure appear. To be honest, I was really afraid that she wouldn't come, so I would have to break into her room and beg her to hear my heart. So the moment I saw her figure appear, I was really happy, and I went straight to meet her, "You are here!" My happiness obviously made her a little at a loss, and she took a step back subconsciously, "Yes, I was stopped by Abbey just no
